This article is pointless and not written well. There is a large difference between just shooting a gun in a game at targets that resemble people and shooting as a discipline, so I don't see how it is a hypocrisy. Kids in general don't know anything at all about their own country. In GENERAL without all the standard arguments of guns kill people, guns should be banned, etc, the Bill of Rights (the first 10 amendments) are natural rights derived from God which cannot be touched. This has more to do with corporate involvement and people who don't play games who run game companies.

Remember Dreamcast's problem with the lack of RPGs? People wanted Shining Force and upper management didn't listen.

There could have been more D&D games, but Atari sat on the license and didn't do anything with it hence Hasbro taking it back.
