I was pretty excited about this game when they first released some info on it but when they showed it in motion and then it just when down hill from there.
Its all about opinions, I for once would give this game a 7/10. Game play is pretty solid but the only thing it really lack was the story line.
this game pretty much blows passes Star Ocean 4 and Tales Of Vespira in game play wise but then again that is my opinion.
I wouldnt care less about the graphics but I am disappointed with the career mode. I wished they used the same formula as the japanese Hajime No Ippo game on the ps2 Boxers Road on the psp. Now those games are a real boxing simulator.
Cant wait to buy Prototype but with Fight Night Round 4 coming out soon so Proto will probably get pushed back a bit for me.
All I can say is that quit trying to compare both games with each other and just play them. Each game has their ups and downs that if they made a sequel to both games hopefully they fix them.
inFamous was fun to play and my hands are itching to play Proto.
After playing FFXI for almost about 5 years now I was hyped when they announced FFXIV.
All I can say about changes is that make the pacing a little faster. Instead of a few jobs that can solo like in ffxi all jobs can solo to an extant. One more thing they can change is make the resting a little faster instead of resting for about 15 mins just to get 1k hp and I'm still sitting on yellow bar.

the steering wheel feels decent with extreme stage but wished you could calibrate the steering wheel to the game. Maybe I'm just not used to ver.4 but with the steering wheel I just have to turn it a few degrees and the car turns automatically. It feels alittle floaty at times.

Don't know about anybody else but the first magna carta wasn't that bad to me. The battle system was pretty cool, I mean it was a mixture of LoD and Shadow of Hearts with button timing. I only have two things that I would really want for this game is
1. Want it to come out on the ps3 cause it would look nice with my ps2 copy of Magna Carta.
2. wanted them to used the character models from the MMO Blade&Soul. To me the character models looks similar to Star Oc...
The battle system sounds similar to parasite eve
It doesnt matter if this game sold 1 or 100 mil copies, all what matters is that people had fun playing this game and thats all that should really matter to gamers.
To me the battle system looks more like White Knight Chronicles but faster. I might have to take a look at the trailer again but it looked like it had some sort of AC(action chip).
Lets say we get into a battle and its my turn. I choose to attack the monster and it will drain one of my AC. If I want to do a chain attack or combo it will drain a few AC. It looks like your AC fills up as the battle continues.
This game already looked good to me when the first trailer was released but now I want it even more. Cant wait for it to come out.

The first thing I want to know about this game is what team to going to develop the game. I know Nomura is held up with FFXIII and VSXIII and the Saga team just made LR so who do they have left.

I agree with all of what Kyur4ThePain said. This game had alot of problems when it first came out but even with the problems it was still enjoyable when the game ran smooth.
I logged in about a few months ago and played a few hours and found that it played pretty smooth and with the new patch that came out, it should play even better. Guess I need to log on and test it out but now they can focus on getting new content out.

Yeah hopefully they reduce the price for the PS3. I know a lot of people who wants a ps3 but really don't want to shell out $399 for it.
I just have a feeling that when they reduce the price they are going to make a new PS3 SKU.
The body and feet movement looks very fluid but one thing that I didnt like about round 3 was the punches. The way hooks, jabs and straights thrown in the game looked a little off and hopefully they look more fluid in round 4.
Still to date my favorite boxing games are Fight night 2004 and the hajime no ippo games.
Yeah the story line was pretty mediocre but gotta love playing online with your buddies :)
