Yeah MS should never of said it was going to be cheaper in the first place if they said it was going to be a full game from the beginning it would have gained scores which rivaled Halo 3, cause most FPS are as long as ODST.

Well Gears 3 better not come out in 2010 because the holidays would just be chaos. Halo: Reach, Fable 3 and Natal with all its games already makes xmas 2010 pretty expensive and thats not even including any multiplats or unannounced games.
Of course Uncharted 1 feel by the wayside, the only reason it managed to crawl past 2ml was from bundles alone and nothing else.
While at full price on its own it would be in no charts what so ever after about 2/3 weeks after release
Uncharted can get whatever it wants on metacritic if thats how Sony does its marketing so be it.
But if you think ODST will be forgotten you can dream on cause the reach beta access alone will give the game super long legs, U2 on the other hand will fall by the wayside two weeks after release like every other PS3 exclusive.

Im sorry but its completely unfair to say your just paying for the single player what about the people who HAVEN'T brought Halo 3 at all. To have the whole H3 multiplayer plus every map, plus firefight and a single player mode $60 is an absolute bargain, it seems that everyone assumes you need to have played Halo 3 to play ODST which is ridiculous and like i said unfair.

I do think the time it took to make and the team should be considered cause look at Too Human that game was knocked like crazy for being delayed for 10 years and if you completed GTAIV and saw the credits and the crazy amount of people involved its no surprise it was such a high quality game (even if it was repetitive).

The game was made in 14 months by a small group at Bungie, its good enough for what it is. If MS didnt overcharge for it, it would look even better of a deal than it already does. But after how well HaloWars, a console RTS did do you seriously believe MS wouldnt take this opportunity to make some serious £££, MS knows Halo sells HaloWars showed that.

Seems like the only thing bringing this game down is its fullgame price. After GTAIV:Lost and the Damned MS should have known reviewers would be expecting more, they never should have changed their mind half way through they might have got away with it.
Still this games looks to be the highest rated expansion which was priced as a full game.

Strange that the normal EG didnt post their review early. I think IGN review will be early too since that said in some article they cant state when they are releasing so it cant be the usual embargo time.

Who said Turn 10 Studios isnt taking into account the fact that every new GT game has scored worse and worse. Starting with GT4 not even being AAA with an average of 89, GT5:P at 80, and the PSP GT at 79. So i think that finally is well justified.
