@Sandmano
I'm sorry but I completely disagree. Since when was it wrong to reveal your console at a press conference? Every generation before this, all consoles were shown when they were revealed. Sony did a great job at building the hype for their system, but miscrosoft did nothing wrong in terms of showing their console off at a conference specifically for that reason.
"They showed the console and not the games people wont care about the games at e3...
of course you would..
Thank Phil for that one Microsoft. I still do not fully understand the whole used game policy.
@bimkoblerutso
Well you may have misunderstood what Geoff was saying. He was explaining how the simplicity of the features such as going from TV to gaming was very interesting to him as a gamer. As any gamer would probably enjoy a more simple navigation through the many features we will be experiencing next gen.
I won't make a decision until E3. But so far I'm not impressed with the look of the box. Thats the least of the systems worries though.
This guy thinks the ps4 will cost just as much as the ps3 when launched? He's delusional I swear. Sony has said over and over that the system will not have the same price tag as the ps3 when launched.
I'm thinking somewhere around the $450 range will be just fine. You need to remember that when the ps3 launched, blu ray was just starting to stand on it's own two feet. This gave the massive price tag of the ps3. Once blu ray players began to drop in price, the ps...
Honestly, After hearing this interview with Aaron Greenberg, I feel slightly better about xbox one. It seems as if all these issues are just being over thought and will soon fade once the console is closer to launch.
Anyway, let's see what E3 is in store for us.
I did chuckle when he said the fish move out the way when close by lmao. I'm pretty sure games have been doing this for years even before this gen.
Not if Sony's around.
thats exactly why I don't get it. The whole point of naming the xbox 360, the xbox 360 was so that the console didn't seem inferior to sony's Playstation 3. now they go back to "one"? I'm sure there are other names they could of come up with to show the console is an all in one experience.
Am I the only one who hates the name Xbox one? I'm confused as to why they named it that way... I mean I get why from what message they are trying to send, but I don't get it from a business stand point.
Wow that looked freakin' awesome!
OHHH yeaaaaaa I need another gameplay demo of MGSV. I'm currently finishing mgs4 again just for the trophies and it never gets old. I can't even imagine how amazing this game will be.
Also I hope close to release, they announce an amazing collectors edition.
Resistance 4... sure as long as it goes back to it's roots (multiplayer wise, story in R3 from what everyone has said was very well done)
but they should also make a Ratchet and Clank game! I want to feel the same way I felt when I was playing tools of destruction back when the game came out in the beginning of the ps3's life. That game blew me away.
This may take away from The last of us spotlight due to E3 being very close to the release date.
October could make sense to because by then we will know the release date for PS4. This could create even more buzz for the PS4 and eventually have more people excited for the next gen console.
That's my guess anyways.
you dont like subtitles to be on?
Business wise, no.
Fighting liquid ocelot in MGS4 was my #1 scene in gaming. I have so many more related to mg, however that scene tied everything together and was beautifully made; and people say gaming isn't art... there wrong.
I want Greg's Jacket !
on topic: I will be purchasing this game day 1!
Thats quite possible lol. If they do though I'm sure there will be a lot of time dedicated to kinect games and not full fledge AAA games.
I just don't like that everyone is shitting on them for not showing games when clearly E3 is in 2 weeks. I'm sure they thought this through before announcing the XBO
