Smart move on their part though, I can't wait to see how gears 4 looks like on a next gen console.
I found this article to be a great read and could very well be a possibility. This is the authors opinion of course, but it is a very thoughtful opinion, one that fits in the TLOU universe and ND's imagination.
I honestly think if this is the case, that it would be a bold move from ND and would make the game even more interesting then it already is by taking this step and introducing a new side to Ellie we haven't known or seen yet.

OT: I agree with everything you said. If they made a new protagonist, then it was pointless to develop these characters that we love today. If they did do those however I wouldn't be extremely upset because I do trust ND I just don't think that would be the smartest choice for this next installment.

Sony may have timed exclusive rights to the game that we may not know about yet. Not sure where I read this, but I'm more then certain that I read it somewhere on this site. I could be wrong though.

Sorry, Im not understanding the hate on team death match. Its practically the only one people play in gears so its obviously popular.I dont get how its for "noobs" either just because you dont like it yourself. Me and my friends have been playing gears 3 since release and we always go back to TDM amd theres always players. Yes those other modes are fun but they shouldnt remove one of there most popular modes because you think its for "noobs" or just dont like it
They need to think far ahead on the next installment. I'm talking 50-100 years after 3 so they can introduce new cast, new locus, new environments etc. Keep the gameplay but everything else goes.
Oh and make it for ps4 and you got me day one

Seriously though it doesn't seem like there's much difference, however, the pictures are kind of far to even tell.
I didn't say I prefer it, I just don't think its a problem the Titanfall has 6v6 because as Sessler said, bigger isn't always better.
The A.I isn't as smart as a actual player so my guess it'll be fine.
I agree with Sessler with this one. BIgger isn't always better and I prefer the more private 6v6 instead of 32v32 or something like that where you can't even walk 3 feet before getting shot.
TLOU, Gears 3 come to mind as great multiplayer games that don't involve a large amount of players and were still very engaging and insane battles.

Yea my best friend is very picky when it comes to playing games so I understand. MGS is my favorite game of all time next to kingdom hearts so I'm extremely excited its only 2 months away.
I'm sure there will be more indie games coming up since they announced so many at E3 and we haven't heard from them for a while.
Outlast looks promising. It already released on PC and received fairly good grades (mid 70's) so I'm very excited for that....

@ Garethvk: Seems like you played the game so this question is direct towards you if you don't mind, How did you feel the enemy AI played? Based off the videos I've seen the AI doesn't seem very intelligent. I know the past Infamous games never had amazing AI, but I was hoping for a smarter group of enemies to strengthened the gameplay in Infamous.

This game really does look like COD meets Halo. That's not such a bad thing though. I was never into COD, But I can see myself getting into this game. It just looks so fast pace and frantic. It makes Killzone look like its running in slow motion. What I did notice was the textures were very flat and uninspired but it's in its Alpha stage so no doubt they will improve. The most important things seem to work such as balancing, and gameplay so color me excited for this one.
I'm honestly somewhat disappointed in this news. Not because I didn't want Microsoft to buy the rights to gears, but more of the fact that now I need to go and buy a xbox one to play one of the only games I ever played on 360 (that and Halo). It's great for xbox gamers though and I do want to see another gears roll out, it just sucks because I was more then positive it would come to play station.
I guess the same can be said for games like TLOU, Uncharted,Infamous...
