I agree with you on the graphics part but when you buy new tech you want your purchase justified in the videogame world graphics just happen to be the main focus im sad to say but were are all the people calling eachother names and bashing eachother for buying dvd players over VHS bc the picture is better or the the who buy 5.1 sound bc they want a theater expirence ya know

Nintendo and Sega built the market 20 years ago I'm sure plenty us will agree, but sony is responsible for alot of its growth into the main stream...so they helped alot but didnt build it

This really has nothin to do with consumers at all and this kinda thing prolly happens with every kinda new technology we just dont here about it and the only reason were hearing about it is bc its the chip for the PS3...i dont pay attention to companies when they talk about useless things like these bc it has nothing to do with the consumer
I think pretty much all these companies say just enough so that theire stock holders dont freak out 20%-40% doesnt really sound good in the realm of the consumer, but they release these kinds of statements to ease the stockholder tension by making it sound as if things are going good.

i never bashed the ps3 ever i merely stated i was unhappy with the content and yes thats my opinion and yada yada...i loved my psone i became unhappy with the ps2 i didnt think the experiences were as good and i quickly started to see a trend of games i had played on my psone having sequals and reiterations i wasnt happy so i bought the other 2 systems that had original content period...never in my article did i say one rained supreme over the other
