Thank you. I’m genuinely excited to see what other games this style of open world design inspires

Hey man if you’re gonna comment be nice if you could approve the thing :)

Mines still about 6.5 hours away...

Don't Forget photo mode. And "mist" effect.

I love that they gave it a bit more context, and that its gonna have some rouge-like features. Feel serious Hades vibes...but maybe that's wishful thinking.

Lol. But it's an interesting point. I'd say that the negative connotations would not result in manipulating sales positively. Doing that wouldn't make people part with their money, so Steam probably wouldn't care.

Because with EA free to play comes with strings. They will want to recoup somehow, and a playable game means further investment. Last thing EA needs is another micro transaction faff. It’s lose lose for them at this point.

Even then, it will be a bad game in 60fps. TBF there was nothing wrong with the way it looked on old gen.

Exactly. But look on the bright side, they can take all the good and stick it in Mass Effect 4. Time to let go of a failed project.

Me too! The guy got like 70k upvotes on Reddit, which is why I reached out. ABG are on the list for early access and review, so keep an eye on the site!

It is fun! Assessing a AA game isn't easy, the bar is so high for the AAA market. But in that context I think Cyanide have done a decent job. If you need more convincing I've got a let's play on the Any Button Gaming channel on YouTube. Feel free to take a look. :)

A LOT of people love this game, and this style. I for one am fan, and wish them well!

I can't decide if I'll go PC for higher spec and small screen, or PS4 and the big boy TV. Either way, it's launch day for me too.

Expertly done.

Again, it doesn't work. The official response from Microsoft, that I found was to download and use the Xbox Application app, which you can't because it's broken. So there is no fix that I could find, but thanks for your patronising reply nonetheless.

Nope, absolutely doesn't work. This is literally what I am saying in the article, having gone though an afternoon of pain and suffering.

1978d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

That is funny. Now where did I put that receipt...

I'm sure some people have managed it, but I gave up after hours of faffing about. I tried YouTube to no avail, but in my opinion when one company has their name on two devices designed to work together, compatibility should be intuitive, not exploratory.

Wired connection works well enough, it's just impossible to pair via bluetooth. Considering it comes from the same company it's unbelievable a fix is required on launch.

I guess everyone was in awe of how amazing the acquisition was (and it is), and speculating on who don’t should acquire. I was just making exactly that point - mergers and acquisitions can sometimes have a downside, exactly as you say.
