I’m 38. I love single player games and I’ve been playing since 6. I want to play this so badly but it stresses me out thinking that I’m going to get my ass kicked for 50+ hours. I could use a, “slightly less aggressive mode.”
Tons of games. And the best part is that if I had paid for some of them, yes, I would have been disappointed. But overall, such a great value. Found some gems in there that I love. Outer Worlds is one that is bomb. Getting Halo without dropping $60? Yes sirrrr!
Just enjoy games however you can. It’s not you against them, it’s giving players options bud. Merry Christmas, ya filthy animal!

Great. I’ve had to hold off playing because the auto save isn’t working for me on Series X.
Yeah, I'm not "unhappy" with the Series X but I am bummed I can't get my hands on a PS5. I'm fortunate enough to afford both so I shouldn't complain, but I have serious FOMO not getting to try the DualSense and the new SpiderMan.
Side note: It's crazy how passionate people are for "their side" and we should all just be grateful that we have options. Enjoy your games and respect others!
I have the Series X and like the UI. I’ve gotten used to it. I’m planning on getting the PS5 and it looks good too, just different. To each their own. Enjoy your gaming!
Both these consoles are going to be a blast to play. I have the Series X preordered and will tell my wife that my son REALLY wants the PS5 for Christmas. Win win!
I have the XBOX One X, PS4 Pro and the Switch. And a PC which I haven’t played a lot of recently since my machine is getting outdate (GTX 1080). I preordered the Series X because of my huge library of games, my interest in cross platform games and continuity. I’ll probably do the same as every generation and get the PS5 a bit later. Ugh, I have had this issue with about 3 or 4 of my controllers. I've had to buy a bunch of replacements. I thought it was when my son left it face down after playing but I guess that isn't the case.
I tried hard to get into this game. I told myself before buying it that it wasn’t for me but I was very curious about it. Bought it and sunk like 15 hours into it. Just didn’t resonate with me. But that is just my opinion. I’m sure millions out there loved it.
I’m pretty excited for both the Series X and PS5. I’ll probably wait because I have the XBOX One X and the PS4 Pro but happy to hear about all the news trickling out.
I don’t get why people are so one sided. We should want these companies to innovate. It’ll only increase competition and make everyone better.
