Remind me when Sony had it’s executives give interviews on a weekly basis talking down about Nintendo. Because I simply don’t remember that happening. And it was certainly never such a wholly agressive attack and non-stop campaign for 20 years like Microsoft has been doing since the reveal of the original Xbox.

Clearly the whole handling of Halo from announcing it as a launch game way too early then showing a graphically completely downgraded game that was clearly unfinished then trying to convince people it was an older build and they were going to patch in good graphics after having digital foundry run 3 point defense then ultimately being forced to delay them game was brilliant.

Nice downplay on Sony though, keeping the records intact of never doing an interview without talking about Sony 6 years and running it maybe the most impressive thing he’s done as xbox boss.
But sx is going to be 799 and all the games are going to be unfinished and only 2 to 4 hours like grounded and filled with micro transactions and episodic content to keep milking gamepass.

I expect a lot of next gen talk will be Sony saying we sold millions of PlayStation 5’s and Microsoft saying we have millions of game pass subs and trying to act like it’s the same thing. Like when they try to compare users to actual sales.
