This isn't Anonymous... the writing style is all wrong. It's just a butt hurt teen that spends too much time on 4chan
Wow, the author of this article sure does know how to pick out statements to throw back at Sony.
Notice the little blurb that the author wrote at the end of the article stating "SCEA are essentially saying..." He's just taking some random statement and blowing it out of proportion. So, in stride with his model of thinking he is essentially the cause for all the Sony hate that is being propagated across the internet.
This article is garbage. Broken internet-translated English and hit mining. You guys really need to put a filter for the articles that get submitted.
I always take advantage of amazon's $20 credit towards next purchase. I pre-ordered Black Ops for a birthday present and got $20 credit. Used credit and pre-ordered Mass Effect 2 at 56.99, got it delivered day of release for 36.99 and got a $20 credit.
Always keep up on the gaming sites that list deals. Sometimes you can find some good ones.
It's also very glitchy, corrupts save files, has out of sync audio, and terrible textures and graphics in some of the DLC. The game should have been $30 at the most.
There is 65 pages of a topic about the freezing/corruption problem on Bioware's official site and they have only just released a patch for it.
@Bear_Grylls
You're really going to compare this guy with Einstein? wow.
Yeah he sure did point out Sony's security flaws... publicly. If he was such an awesome guy fighting for everyone's right to "freedom" he would have stopped and thought about what he was doing before releasing Sony's security info to the world.
All of these people say that they love gaming and they are doing this for everyone's benefit. Bullshit. If you loved games you would play them and that's it. People are so short-sighted to the fact that th...
I think rating movies in general is more a plague. In order for a film to get rated by the MPAA they need to be scrutinized and approved by a panel of anonymous supposedly unbiased people. They are definitely not unbiased. Take a look at the film "This Film Has Not Yet Been Rated". It goes into the politics and specifics behind the MPAA.
Having a filter like that between the consumers and the producers only holds cinema back. If it weren't for the invent of DVD&...

"You can't sue someone for money they don't have."
I love your naivety. You can be sued if you don't have any money. If the court rules against the defendant they can order a lien on their wages. It's the American way after all.
It's probably all laid out in their business model. They have no rationale for allowing a third-party independent site to advertise for their game. The majority of their advertisement comes from TV and news publications, which are all regulated by Bioware and EA.
You need to look at in a business sense. By tying themselves to Bioware and accepting donations they are basically making money off of Bioware's name/products. Not all of these fan sites are regulated for con...
Let's just hope this games lives up to all this publicity. It looks great. I sure hope it plays as well.
The firmware has been fixed. Almost a week after the first release of 3.56 they released a new version which addressed the issue. These people are just pissed because they can't get something for free.
In a sense, Sony did fix this problem. They released a second version of the 3.56 firmware almost a week later. They have no obligation to repair any out of warranty consoles that were damaged as a result. These people are pissed because they can't get their shit repaired for free.
This article needs to have its title changed. Maybe to something like "Has the Call of Duty series made gamers angry and entitled?" Halfway through his article he throws out his main game reference as being Black Ops. He basically took the source for the whole article and just covered it with some basic writing techniques. He did this to make it seem like he is not actually an angry and entitled gamer himself... but it fails.
Also, the only real thing that is holdin...
@darkpower
Your posts are always very long-winded but they never really address anything at all.
You talk of understanding another person's point of view yet you chastise and mar others opinions. I think you fail to see the larger picture of this whole thing. You really think Sony is naive enough to believe that they can stop the "hacking" of the PS3? What everyone fails to see is that Sony is a worldwide powerhouse of a corporation and they are...
I can do this on my computer which is no less than 100 feet from my PS3. Also, my PC has a lot better specs than my playstation. The possibilities of the PS3 should be realized in legitimate titles offered by studios not by the bullshit little kids create to make a name for themselves.
I'm sure Hotz is a genius in cracking code and security but I can almost bet that his abilities in patching and fixing security holes are lacking.
Well, if you're going to get into the small details of this thing then any digital information is just numbers, letters and icons. The fact of the matter is that there are license agreements and software agreements that no one bothers to read when they purchase something. I personally think EULA's and software agreements are bullshit but they are there for a reason.
The rootkey is just a bunch of numbers but those numbers are attached to proprietary software owned by ...
@ darkpower
I have stopped reading most of the articles in relation to this hacking business but I do agree with Sony's side. Homebrew, OtherOS and CFW are great in practice but really who is going to just stop there? No one. I guarantee every single person who advocates reverse engineering of the PS3 will at one point play a pirated game on their system.
What amazes me is that people don't see the possible detrimental effects of having the PS3's...
That is definitely a picture of an Apatosaurus. I would guess they are making an apocalyptic end-of-days for dinosaurs type of game. You can see the mountain range in the background and possibly a volcano on the right. The sky is dark and cloudy too. Looks right for a dino game.
