Mario Kart 8 is almost a spiritual successor.
I try not to compare it to other games in the series...and it's still a horrible game.
Game Informer said the main issues were the new setting being monotonous and stealth taking a large portion of the game play.
LoS2 got a 6 from Game Informer. EDGE is usually pretty critical, so I try not to listen to their reviews. I'm pretty worried about it though. A 6 from GI isn't good. :/
On the other hand, I can't wait to pick up Donkey Kong and download Octodad.
As long as Sony advertises it, inFamous will be a huge hit. I am so excited!

Finally, someone else who played Starhawk! I try not to mention it when people bring up Titanfall, but it's hard not to. I'm excited for Titanfall, but I wouldn't say it does anything new.
The Titans dropping is already done in Starhawk...except there are many other things that drop, as well.
Spending less and getting more is the goal. I believe Sony is achieving that.

I'm sure mods will change that 6 vs. 6 pretty quickly. I hope so, at least. Large LAN parties will need a higher player count.
They usually have sales when Steam does, to counter it. Sometimes, the sales are pretty decent, but don't expect too much. I would recommend downloading Origin, at least. Maybe try some demos. It's not as full-featured or as quick as Steam, but it's alright. I personally wish EA would just give up and use Steam, but I'm sure they're making enough on Origin to justify its existence.
I guess I'll play 13 until I can get the PS4 version then. Pretty disappointing, but at least they aren't rushing it. I hope this doesn't affect sales.
