This article for example quite conveniently left out the fps information in the title for a reason. The resolution thing will last until PS5 drop...
And that's fine and well within your right to do so but to not realize where this is heading based on everything we are hearing and seeing about this game lately its disingenuous to not admit that its not looking good.

You apparently missed the part in the video where they say it performs better in terms of FPS on Pro over X. Nothing to fear after all.
But (per the video) has better FPS on Pro and everyone says FPS is more important than resolution, unless of course that's all of a sudden changed now.

Its not a normal practice to be downgraded this significantly especially for a game running on "Da Beast" and using the power of "Da Cloud".

That's a shame it should matter to you. Many games are fun and a technical showcase. MS is phoning it in with stuff like this and you saying it doesn't matter and giving them a pass for it will only lead to more of it.

I pray to all that is holy Sony doesn't do anything like Gamepass because if it means getting phoned in stuff like this with the occasional nugget like Forza Horizon to keep folks on the hook like MS is doing, its not worth the yearly fee.
