Well, Ubi has bought me with this one. They know how to shell out very good titles and I'm sure this one isn't gonna be any different. I enjoy a good co-op game and it's looking like this one is gonna provide. I do think that the animations need a little shaping up; imo, they're too quick to be realistic. A couple months of polish should make this a AAA game for sure. Day 1 buy for me.

I don't understand why people are slating them off. It isn't like Insomniac said, 'fuck the PS3; we developing for Xbox only now.' They just said they were gonna do a multiplat game. O_O'

If you click the link I posted it should show you a more in depth interview which displays some RPG elements to it. Now, I really don't know what you might consider as an RPG so...

**SPOLIER ALERT (for ME2 ending)!!!!

Lol, I'm glad I blew up the damn Collector base at the end of ME2. Just wonder what repercussions it might have on the human retaliation and the invasion of the Reapers. I'm sure it's a double-edged sword. On one hand, if you saved the tech, now Cerberus has it and if you destroyed it, now no one, not even humanity has it. XD

Actually no, ME was always supposed to be a shooter with RPG elements to it; the only question is how much RPG? I've played and own both of the canon games of the series and noticed that ME1 had a lot of unnecessary elements to it.

Too many pieces of armor and weapons that didn't really have a significance to them. All of us who played ME1 and beaten ME1 should know that once you got Colossus or Predator armor you either sold or "omni-gelled" the rest of you...

Basically ME2 with a few improvements; Bioware has been true to their word (for now anyways) in the fact that the RPG elements, while subtle like in ME2, are truly there and being refined (perhaps to a level even greater than in ME2). I don't understand why alot of people are being discouraged. :/

Even if hackers do ever succeed in taking down SONY's gaming division, they won't succeed in taking out their main form of revenue which lies in their TVs and music. SONY's gaming division is just a small part of their income despite what people believe. Ergo, it'll take something like a nuclear EMP across all of SONY's factories and headquarters to take them out of the game for good.

Personally, I think if this is implemented, there will be a backlash, some whining, and eventually everyone will go on with their lives. Look at the change from last gen to next gen when the price of new games was 50 dollars. When the industry decided to up it to 60, everyone was angry for a while, but eventually just bit their lips, and kept going.

There are some players that share their care package also. I don't really think any enemy would be stupid enough to go steal a CP in the middle of the street where their opponent has a clear line of sight at them.

I can only see it being somewhat effective when you take an enemy by surprise. In a straight firefight, it's almost 100% sure you'll lose unless your opponent has shitty aim. (excuse my language) Also, they shoulda named this "Demolition gameplay" rather than flamethrower; I don't think demolition was leaked or even confirmed before this video.

I can't see how people are saying it's the same exact thing as MW2; sure I see lots of similar things in it, but the fact is, while gameplay has stayed pretty much the same, there have been lots of improvements to how the game will be played. No matter where you go, or what FPS you play, the fact remains that there will be unskilled noobs hurting the gameplay. Same goes for BC2 and especially MoH, because thanks to Cod4, the way FPS' are played online is practically the same from ...

There are too many grammatical errors in the letter. Plus, Activision's deal with MS makes it unlikely that PS3 will get a beat first, if anything. Not to mention the fact Treyarch already publicly announced that they wouldn't be doing an open beta.

Cod was never made to be a simulator; if you want true to life values, try playing any Operation Flashpoint.

and according to what they claim they're doing; if their claims hold any validity, then we might see proper moderating in games, hopefully console-side too. ;)

Looking like maybe an MP5K with an M1911, but honestly I'm more of an AR (assault rifle) player.

Follow that trend and there is no creativity in the world or no say for that matter; I'd rather die knowing that I held my rights and followed them wholeheartedly than pussy-out just because someone threatens to kill me. I's say f**k you and bring it...

Honestly I don't believe that people are getting upset over the name change, but over the fact that EA buckled, that EA DIDN'T defend its rights to creativity, and the fact that despite explaining to these "troubled" families why they're making the Taliban playable characters, they still refused to listen and accept it.

This is ridiculous; that a single word being revised makes everything better?! For the families that lost soldiers over the war, my condolences, but if the game is offensive don't buy it or support it, but don't make it worse for the gamers that DO want an immersive environment and realistic events. I can't help but be disappointed in EA AND the MoH team; to have a buckled under this ridicule just made this game a RENT for me. :P
