I don't doubt that. Luckily I couldn't give two shits about Call of Duty. I'll save my money for Killzone 3.
I wasn't really impressed with this particular video, either. I mean the dude wasn't even racing anybody, he was just cruising around. Just watch the other videos (like the rain one) and that'll give you an idea why people are excited for this game.
I swear, older games had the best music. Nowadays developers just hire some wannabe motion-picture composer. The older game composers, like Nobuo Uematsu, knew how to write good music that actually fits the video-game.
yeah GT5 is going to be one of the few games I'll actually use custom soundtrack for...custom music only seems to be effective in online-shooters and racing games.
@Ginbe Better than having to waste my money on another xbox.
"The PS3 doesnt even have a gamne like Gt5 either."
What?
@Cevapi88 It really doesn't feel all that much different from KZ2. It does feel smoother and a little more precise, but I definitely wouldn't call it "floaty".
But does the Halo Reach jetpack have a badass machine gun attached to it? Didn't think so.
I wonder if they'll let you drive a Ford Probe. I drive that piece of crap everyday, it'd be interesting to drive it in GT5.
I think Microsoft should add some type of controller to Kinect for more complex games. That would make it a tad more appealing.
No there really isn't any official checks and balance system here, except for the community disapproving articles and what not (but there's usually an agenda there anyway).
Ha ha yeah I tend to think of it as a 360 exclusive anyway.
Maybe it "pwned" the people who doubted it on a financial standpoint. But for people like me who doubted it as a gaming device I don't think I've been pwned by any stretch of the imagination.
I think you underestimate how influential ads can be. For example: there is a girl in my music appreciation class who hardly ever played games and bought the Move recently due to sony's ads. I'm sure many other people are doing the same.
I don't think Kinect can really make that much of a difference. Most of the obese xbox kids will probably stick to Halo and Cod, and Kinect won't be able to remedy the high caloric intake of American children anyway, which is the main problem.
Trophies are kinda nice, but MGS4 is so good this shouldn't deter anyone from playing this masterpiece (There are in-game trophies at the end if you fiercely desire an abstract reward).
I agree. There really are no obvious gameplay or performance
differences between ps3 and 360.
Well remastering PS2 games is pretty much supporting the PS3 as they are technically PS3 games.
I'm sure all the major companies pay off reviewers in some way. Maybe they give em a little something extra and insinuate bumping up the score a few points...I don't know I don't really follow this shit, but it seems like something quite easy to imagine.
Ha ha that's stupid.
