Baldurs Gate 2 is officially my favourite game of all time. The fact that this type of game is making a comeback thanks to Kickstarter is the best thing that's happened on the gaming horizon in years!
The Ps3 was soundly beaten (specs wise) by the 8800 GTX, a graphics card from 2007. Here we are, 7 years later, and the PS3 is producing graphical masterpieces like GOW and TLOU while the 8800 GTX has LONG since been relegated to the dusty pages of history, along with all the cards that came after it. Consoles aren't PC's, stop comparing them.
The movie could work ONLY if it doesn't star Joel and Ellie. Tell another story, using real actors to copy your digital ones will be a disaster.

I'm starting to give up hope for a new Fallout. And now for some reason Wasteland 2 just refuses to get released. Maybe I should start playing racing games or COD or some such s***t.
I can't imagine being forced to buy the uglier, patently less powerful option, for more money than its rival, because the better one is sold out and you're simply incapable of patience. Then, while you're crying yourself to sleep, you'll also be haunted by the knowledge that it will have less and less quality exclusives as the years drag by, cos that's just how its parent company rolls. Yeah that could make anyone cry.

Given the way Bioware f****d up the coclusion to the first three, a prequel would be such an uninteresting concept I probably wouldn't even want to touch this game.
This was my GOTY 2012, and this expansion is making it a contender for my GOTY 2013. Although The Last of Us clinches it by a hair.
I suspect a Nov 2014 release date, instantly making 2014 the best year ever, as well as the worst since that means the wait will be hell (ala Skyrim)

As much as I ADORE Fallout, I must admit I'm more excited for Wasteland 2. That game looks like a Fallout/Baldurs Gate fan's wet dream.
Unfortunately its bound to happen, and soon :/
