Yes I did. But as someone who grew up on Final Fantasy 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, 12 was a horrid jumble of conflicting ideas, bland unmemorable characters and a WTF story. I agree that Square is looking amazing again though. Wonder what happened.

Yeah I agree, the game itself was breathtaking. I just wish I didn't replay every previous game before 3 came out, to get my save "just right". I felt pretty stupid about that let me tell you. Oh and I cried tears of impotent rage but that's neither here nor there.
Konami should go the way of THQ and end up selling their IP's to company's who aren't BAT SH*T INSANE!

Who disagreed with you? FF13's battle system played itself ffs! ZERO strategy involved! If the remake is even LEANING in that direction I will be a hard sell. And I absolutely adore Final Fantasy 7.
