on the PS3 the game needs to reload when you die, not on the 360
also there are some sounds gone on the PS3, BUT the PS3 version has a blur filter to counter aliasing and the consoles version have more HDR effects than the PC, the PC don't get these effects cuz otherwise a patch of 3 gigabytes would be needed(to replace all the maps)
also the consoles version have an extra layer of detail textures in HL2 but I heard this was a...

never use the same accountname and password for a PS3-gamesite and never use proxyservers

I also rather play my PS1 games with the epsxe emulator because you can raise the native resolution to like 1280*1024(the PS3 only upscales PS1 games, it does not rais the NATIVE resolution)
