'The game is ready to debut on the Xbox 360 and PS3 on December 5th of 2008, almost 30 years after the original Apple II entry.'

Does anybody proof read anything anymore? I don't remember playing Prince of Persia on my apple II in 1979....
It's been 19 years, not 30 as stated. Maths is fun! They should try it.

@JsonHenry
"Where would be we be if Ford was the only motor company in the world because no one else wanted to "copy" the gasoline engine?"

Ford didn't invent the gasoline engine! I'm sick of hearing absolute bollocks sprouted as truth...America did not invent the motor car! Got it? Not even frigging close! Not by a few decades....
Try putting down the games and reading a book once in a while. And no, I'm not here to give you a history lesson ...

My comment is dumb? How dare you! The entire premise of the game is the controllers! Without the controllers there's no game. If you're saying that this isn't a rip off, then not only are you ignorant, but you're also a bloody liar. Buzz announced a movie quiz almost two years ago; it was announced with the introduction of the original Buzz as a matter of fact. In addition, I know exactly what "Scene It" is, thank you very much. Unlike you I wasn't born yesterday. For crying o...

Hmm...
And 1 = 100/100....so.....remix was right....
Maths is fun!

Yes, of course we believe you. And if you were in fact "lord" of anything at all, you'd probably know that it's spelt 'vengeance'. Good luck with your career in the fast food industry.

I suppose it's a relaxed definition. A bit subjective...like the term "AAA". Could have been worse I suppose...Could have been "a raft of titles", or "a plethora", or perhaps even "a deluge".
Or how about "a superfluity"? (my personal favourite...)
Better than:"a collection of titles that an idiot could count without removing his socks and shoes..." - which is actually true...Doesn't mean they won't be good though.

We're a population of between 450 and 500 mil...Quite substantial, although as someone who probably can't count I'm sure you won't agree.
Please keep your ignorant xenophobic opinions to yourself.

Yeah buddy, learn to do some maths....If 80% are casual, that still leaves 24 mil. hardcore gamers. - Add the few casuals and the people who buy this console based purely on its media playback capabilities, and you're looking at market dominance. (That's according to your maths anyway...Hmmm. Come to think of it, I do like your maths...)

The Netherlands refers to (and in a sense, translates to) "The low Countries", i.e. the place now inhabited by the Dutch people. The Dutch part really refers to Ethnicity and Language. They established a Dutch Republic at some point(like 400 years ago, you'd have to look it up...it lasted for like two or three hundred years) and it is on this basis that we refer to them as "The Dutch". Sorry that the facts are sketchy - apologies to any Dutch people if I'm talking out o...

It all depends on whether or not you're English...If you come from England, then you're obviously English and refer to yourself as such. But coming from Britain means you're British too. You can be Welsh and British, Scottish and British, English and British etc. It's safer to refer to someone as British rather than to simply assume that they are English. Unless of course you know that they come from England, in which case they're English!

Then they'd better start working on those Killzone 2 duffle bags with the new controller, a PS3 and a bandana. Perhaps Sony will have learnt something from MS, and they'll buy a few decent reviews this time. It's obvious they're not going to get them the ethical way. Most game reviewers seem to be twelve year olds with no actual technical expertise or credibility, and a hard-on for whatever MS tells them. It doesn't matter how great this game is; it's like
p!ssing into the wind... ...

The tower is St. Stephens clock tower. The 13 and a 1/2 ton bell that hangs within the tower is called Big Ben.

But I wonder if the controller issue would really have a major impact on sales as they stand right now. I'm not sure that those of us who bought PS3's initially, wouldn't have bought them anyway even if we'd known there'd be a new controller coming along. I kind of suspected there would be a change when I bought mine, but I did buy it all the same. I find it hard to believe that anyone really believed Phil when he said - 'Rumble is last gen.', but I wasn't prepared to wait either way. Per...

Without even considering whether there's a serious problem or not, it's obvious that Microsoft can't comment. If there really is no problem at all - which is unlikely given all this bad publicity - then commenting will simply draw even more attention to the issue. If there is a serious problem, then anything they say at this point could damage their case if there is a class action in the future. I wouldn't say anything either if I were them. They're riding this one out to see where it ta...

Isn't this like the worst kept secret ever? I don't really understand why they feel the need to deny or refuse to comment on things that are already in the public domain. Any thoughts? Damage control perhaps for when they don't deliver on time? Why don't they just tell us they're working on it. Give us a release date, and we'll just add a year to that like we always do.

It's really pointless analysing what these companies say about their competitors in public. It's all spin(and some of it not very good at that). What really matters is what they say behind closed doors in their boardrooms and via private emails that we never get to see. Putting words in their mouths doesn't really bring much to the debate either. Technically, he didn't actually insinuate that they were going to charge for PSN. You could I suppose make inferences if you were that way incl...
