Yes. This was definitely done deliberately. They tried to minimize the differences. There is a huge difference between 720p and 1080p. Strange things happening in this new gen while performing comparisons. DF botching bf4 comparisons, now IW failed at showing the real ps4 1080p version. Sounds very fishy. This is definitely not a coincidence.
