Never said it wasn't "arcade". But you act like us grown ups don't play arcade like games. Cod perfected a formula that hit the sweet spot with a majority of consumers of all ages and nationalities. It's not a kids game and it's not aimed at kids. It's stupid parents who keep buying it for their children! The game is a love/hate relationship of fast paced adrenaline rush fun and that is why it is addictive. Don't hate because they found the correct formula for commercial success. I enjoy battlefield also but even though I sometimes hate cod, it still keeps me coming back for more!
I have both and while I like both, the vita has more of a mature content selection of games for me. And the the fact that I have to use an attachment for a second circle pad is unacceptable. But I still like both. Nintendo just has to make more mature games than mario all the time.

Cod is addictive. No matter what you think, the cod games have the right formula for fun. The matches are well timed, fast pace, and provide a good adrenaline rush! There will always be things I don't like ( target finders, over powered shotguns/pistols, lag comp. Ect.) But you keep coming back for more! Battlefield is totally different and that's fine. I'm addicted so of course im excited! Love it and I hate it but when I turn on my xbox it tells me to play more cod! I have lots of other games but none keep me playing as long as cod!

Well I'll just be waiting on the dlc this generation because the only reason I got a 360 was cause of friends having one and the cross game chat. I've always been pissed for paying yearly. Now that ps4 will have all these features Microsoft can kiss it! I had fun playing blops 2 on wii u and they have no dlc so I'll wait a month for dlc on ps4. If they think this is gonna change people's mind on the always online xbox they just don't know!
It's cod, doesn't matter, I'll be saying I'm not going to buy it then on release day I'll get it and be pissed off with love/hate relationship of cod all over again!
While I enjoyed the change of pace that battlefield provided, it just isn't as fast pace, fun, and addictive as cod. People don't understand it is the formula that keeps cod surviving. This is why it only changes minimal from each release. Battlefield is different and that's what I like about it but most of my hours are put into the love/hate fast paced kill streak cod!

I mean mature as in rating. Violence, sex, skillful competition. Action, not rpg, I still love my mario bros and kart and im waiting for super smash bros even for my wii u. But im on my vita a lot more than my 3ds so far.
