Don't know why all the downvotes lol. What you say is basically true. Battlefield and cod are 2 totally different types of gameplay. Cod players are not gonna all of a sudden become battlefield players if they haven't been playing battlefield up to this point. Cod players would most likely go to a game like titanfall before they play battlefield. Cod will always outsell battlefield because it appeals to the masses. I play both but definitely play cod way more although ghost, advanced ...
We'll see how much of a "disaster" it is come November 4th. It will still outsell every other shooter as usual.

These rivalry articles happen every time there is a new battlefield and cod coming out. It's always the same result in the end, cod dominates because it appeals to the masses. Battlefield developers and fanboys always set themselves up for disappointment every year. They appeal to 2 different crowds, battlefield a select group of dedicated fans, cod to the masses, pros, casuals and so on.
Ubisoft themselves continuously took cheap shots at destiny and said they would steal destiny 's players. Don't know why everyone has amnesia now lol.

Nah bruh, the player base in destiny never dropped this dramatically. Even though i enjoyed the division and will still go back from time to time, i called this in the beta. The pvp is mainly 4v1 all of the time. Not gonna keep people playing like that. While every game has bugs and glitches ive never witnessed the types of truly game breaking glitches this game has. It had potential but i think it's too late.
I'm definitely playing less and less now. Hell the last few days I've basically logged on and immediately logged off. Although I've had my issues with destiny too, i put over 1400 hours in it before i stopped playing.

Things become the "go to" because more people like it over the other. No matter what beef you have with cod, more people always choose it over battlefield. Stop giving developers the excuse of " it's the popular thing." Instead, make a game that will actually attract the players like cod has.if not, stfu and hold that L.
