The PS2 was no great gem right out of the gate. It took some time to gain traction and after it did, well, we see how popular that system STILL is today. Sony is somewhat slow in getting things up to speed. As developers get more familiar with the system and the required programming this will be a long term project that likely competes with the next Microsoft system.
