Doesn't the playstation 3 output at a max native 1080P? Doesn't it also upscale to a max 1080P resolution? Plus these days the receivers and TVs all upscales the signals so WTF!! Touting an old tech in the xbox? BS! What the hell is a console exclusive? Sounds like xbox fanboys use this term to make them feel like they are actually getting exclusives.
Fact of the matter is that almost every console gamer also has a computer and if I want to play those games I can with the pc version, which btw is superior and cheaper priced. So keep touting your "console exclusives" while I play real exclusives.

Why does everything have to boil down to Microsoft vs Sony or vice versa? I know that by buying it on pc I am still giving money to microsoft.. so does like 90% of people who own computer (windows)! The freaking game isn't even an Xbox360 exclusive. I recently bought it for my brother on PC and it only cost me $30. This is an old game, although excellent, it is old and there are lots of new good games on the horizon. If I have time in between MGS4, Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, Home, Siren, Killzone 2, Gow3, Motor 2, and many other multiplatform games to check out Bioshock then I would rather buy the pc version for $30 than spend $65 bucks on the PS3 version, if they do indeed make...
I agree that I would rather not have a quickly thrown together mp gimp the sp aspects of the game. However if the sp turn out to be short and average then I will be upset! As per my previous comment. With all the attention the sp is getting it had better be at the very least 12 to 15 hours and epic , just as much if not more than those games that you mentioned!

I don't mind multiplayer on this game at all. However since they are focusing all their resources on the single player campaign they it better not be average lengh (6-8 hours). It has to be 15+ hours and really have to blow me away for it to be a buy!!
I am going to wait for a review on this before I even consider buying. There are just too many good games coming out so I can be picky...

I don't know about everyone else but I don't play racing games to freaking crash into a freaking wall!!! I play to come in first at the finish line. If you crash so much that the way they look matters that much to you then maybe you should try playing a different game, like sudoku or something?

Metal gear games track exactly hour long you have been playing so I don't think the reviewer is hyping anything. He stated that the exact playthrough time was 29 hours and 6 minutes, which leads me to believe that is what the counter said after he completed the game.
Whatever the case may be... 29 hours!!! And not counting Metal Gear Online. I just finish the entire Metal Gear Essentials pack and I can't be anymore siked for this epic finale of a GAME!!!

I am not going to front I only have a PS3 but I am not a fanboy. I am actually kind of pissed that this is coming out ina year but if they make it even better then it is ok. I can play some other big games coming out in the meantime. As far as GOW2 is concern, am I the only one that after viewing the screenshots and sh*t, that thinks it is pretty much UT3 graphics? Could be because it is using the same engine... I bought that crap and pretty much never play it cause there is like absolut...
Anyone who thinks that the ps3 NEEDS installs to play excellent games because of limitations have never seen Rachet and Clank! That games is gorgeous and has basically no load times with huge levels and stuff all over the screen. And not to mention it is like a 16 hour game!
It good developers who know the ps3 well can do it without installs. That being said this is MGS4!!! I dont' care if required 50gb!!! Besides I have a 320gb hdd in my ps3 for $100 so I am so freaking...
