Nin is working on a new state of the art compressing sotfware that can compress a games data to 2mb so when saving or getting a update you will be shocked to see it only taking up 1-8kb of data. So the size they have now is mind blowing with the new tech.

Achievements are nothing they haven't done before in the past. They were called ''sidequests'' on certain games like RPG's (to name a category) to achieving armor, weapons, new areas to explore ect. They & 3rd parties never put it out on advertising them in the games like we see in the games nowadays. But to say they really need that to drive their system I say no they don't.
