I've nothing to add to your post, the day Polyphony tries to emulate Forza is the day Gran Turismo is not my favourite racing series anymore. Forza might have become the better game (after countless iterations), yet GT will always be the better driving simulator. PD just needs to get with the times and stop wasting resources on unnecessary features, who even asked for 1000+ photo mode locations?
So we now we have to pay 250.000$ instead of 60$ for a new Fable...?
I'm definitely disappointed that this won't be much more than a extended Prologue to GT7.
They might've (unexpectedly?) made this deal with the FIA and therefore decided to make their next game about it. Making it a small part of a full fledged GT7 probably wouldn't have the impact it will have this way so I'm kind of understanding where they are coming from... but as I care much more about Gran Turismo than I do about online racing this is still not wha...
An incredibly overblown, completely unrealistic estimate though. Funny how people are falling for it, can't wait to see the reactions when reality hits them.
Wouldn't call it fake, that's just how they are. Probably the peskiest dorks this industry has to offer, every one of them made at least a handful of incredibly questionable comments that would disqualify them for executive positions within any other company.
All people that this industry can't be proud of.
There's around a dozen solid reasons for that, though.
And lots of people were complaining about it already. I'll take bets that most of what has been rumored turns out to be pure BS, especially the 6tflops that most people couldn't even afford at this point.
Yeah as "awesome" as Xbox One... I'd be ashamed to tell my friends that I bought a "Xbox Mini".
Are we now copying whole articles into the comment section?
^Impressions from who? From what I've played Paragon is much better than Smite or LoL, not only in terms of graphics and presentation, but the card system it's built around gives it an additional layer of depth that other MOBAs haven't. Also development is far from finished, the game has seen a lot of improvements over the last 6 months and I'd already give it a 9/10.
Ehh apart from the fact that Overwatch is not worth 60 bucks for many people, it's a completely different genre than Smite...?
If anything, people will soon be playing Paragon instead.
Mildly entertaining, sure. Judging by your other comments it wouldn't even surprise if you're one of them.
Totally agree, they should've pulled through with this. Not only does it look pretty good, the industry as a whole would benefit from a new Legacy of Kain game. It baffles me that we don't have these types of games anymore, it's almost like gaming has become too mainstream which would be simply ridiculous.
And it's certainly a topic worth discussing.
I think for one that gaming journalists have lost a lot of respect and credibility during the last few years and most of them, including the guys at Kotaku have only themselves to blame.
On the other hand you also need 'some' kind of mental issues to make death threats over a video game delay, I'd say roughly around the level of retardness necessary to scream "We are making America great again!11".
Stupid people?
I always blame stupid people, and there's a lot of them everywhere... especially on the internet.
Like Miyamoto said "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is bad forever"
It's something that was heavily understated last generation when developers thought that they can simply patch their games after release. I will probably never forgive EA for rushing the BF4 launch with severe technical issues or the Battlefront launch with only half the content you would expect from a full priced title. I wouldn't be mad at all if they had delayed both of the...
Delays usually turn out good, I'm still looking forward to this just like I'm looking forward to Final Fantasy 15 and The Last Guardian. Might wait for reviews though just to keep the expectations in check.
Well the Xbox360 was great until Microsoft abandoned it completely, they only started supporting it with 1st party ports after the XB1 flopped. Makes you wonder how long they'll support the XB1 with anything else than Halo, Gears or Forza.
Pretty much, it's like asking why Arsenal can't win the Champions League. Sure they could, if... nah let's not even start this.
