This is the problem I'm having with it. I don't even mind yearly releases as much as the shady business practices that came with CoD's incredible success. Activision, EA and Ubisoft are not companies I want to have my money anymore.

PC games having unlocked framerate wasn't even news thirty years ago, and these days you'll even have user patches for this stuff 1 day after release.
I've only watched two or three BluRays since I bought my PS4 so no, I won't be missing 4k BluRays. These things are bought for gaming and even if, I'm sure you'll survive watching upscaled full HD BluRays for once.

Sony definitely made the better business move, Scorpio might not even sell half as much without some real 'next-gen' exclusives when it launches 4 years into the cycle. It seemed more like a PR stunt to claim the title of most powerful console but I for one am fine with what I've seen of the PS4 Pro.

FIFA and CoD haven't changed much during the last 5 years, while PES or Battlefield for example made some big improvements, mostly due to using newer engines. However FIFA or CoD make much more money that could be spent on improvements, which actually makes their success so bitter and undeserved.
