The xbone was mostly about TV when it was unveiled and afterwards till the backlash happened. The heavy TV focus of the Xbone was clearly aimed at casuals and COD is the most casual game there is outside of some WiiU party games. Kinect was a big casual play too that hardcore gamers didn't care about. Actually gaming was an afterthought originally since they thought they already had those gamers in their back pocket.
@3ndulg3 if it was up to Respawn it would've likely been on PS4 but it wasn't. EA made the TitanFall deal with MS.
Kojima was the only thing that gave konami any credibility.
I seen an article while back when this news was first coming out. It said konami was making an all-new MGS and sounded like a reboot. More likely to be more like the new halo trilogy coming out that isn't bungie. They're planning a new MGS series post-kojima.
Or maybe it'll be like Apple when Jobs left and then came back to save the company.

well MS was all TV first and games as an afterthought for XBONE,PS4 was games first, there's your difference. While MS talked about building production studios to make tv shows for xbox, sony already had those so they didn't need to. Just as The PS3 was the best media box available outside of roku, PS4 will continue to add to media duties after gaming was established.
@codewow you don't need 25mb to run PSNow at max settings and the minimum is 5mb. so if someone's connection falls in-between you'll have no problems running PSNow
It doesn't play over the dialog or sound effects, ambient sound, just the soundtrack. playing like that would still be immersive i think but not as much really. depends on your game really and this was heavily requested. this would be certainly welcomed during driving games.

@Uth11 paid subs get a high quality high bit-rate sound besides being free of ads but you'll get the same music and functionality
Music unlimited had it's fans and it was a nice service, i'll miss it and many others will. I'm sure sure spotify will suffice but won't be as good but i'll try it out.

Hulu works on it now and it's in the new releases section of it's store and download the small patch. It's great playing persona 4 golden, muramasa on it and so many others. I bought the bundle when it came out and thought it was a good deal then so this is good news. Hopefully it takes off at that price.
You do know you can just buy the disc instead of the digital version and not play online either i hope? And what no PS3? plenty of full games there you can buy the disc of for it.
