Surely it's better to 'Spaz out' and make sure this kind of thing doesn't happen than to sit back silently waiting then say "oh they did screw everyone over"
You don't get the long term repercusions of things like this? People don't take away freedoms overnight, or even willingly. Little steps like these will lead to others taking liberties while the unaware masses will buy in to it.

I like to buy films or DVDs, I can watch a great film and lend it to a friend who is now aware of this great filmaker etc..
At some point I'm going to have a large ammount of DVDs I maybe dont watch anymore clogging up my house. What do I do? Keep them? Throw them away? No. I sell them on, make some money and create some space.

That's testament to how awesome Dark souls is. Those glitches were a bit annoying but in no way spoiled the game at all. Its prob my favourite game ever.
