it's not the same thing at all, segagamer. and i don't buy PSplus to play online. (only online game i play is world of tanks and i can play that on ps4 without plus) i buy plus for other perks like free games every month, game discounts and beta invites - it's a great deal. i think you're comparing apples and oranges here.
i'm with you, awdevoftw! i enjoy gaming but don't HAVE to do it. there is no way i'll go the subscription route.
i'd love him back too - unless they say they're only giving us half the game on the disc and we have to download the rest. what a stupid thing they did on the 3 game remaster.
what does that have anything to do with what could possibly be done now - it'll be 2 full gens later. it's possible they could do it.
if they can do these kinds of things - i'd have no problem paying more.
ultra, none of us know the development schedule for From - they could be making both. i can't believe they're only working on ER and ONLY when they get that done would they start something else. it's very possible bloodborne2 is being worked on - the game was too successful for sony to just forget about it.
i'm hoping for bloodborne 2 as a launch title. hey, if i'm going to dream - dream big!
if ER is coming to current gen, i'm thinking bloodborne 2 to be a ps5 title.

i hate the idea that to watch 3 different television series, it might be necessary to subscribe to 3 different services (not to mention the monthly cost of the internet and any data limits that come with the ISP). - and i won't do it. same with gaming. if this is the model the game industry will go to, then i won't be gaming. i'm not going to write a long comment about this - suffice to say, i completely disagree with the opinion/thoughts in the article.

DillyDilly, ps3 outsold the 360 every month after it launched till the end of that gen - and sony did this with a (initially) much higher priced console - "bad launch"? i think MS would love that kind of "bad launch".
sony has been the dominant game company since they entered the market - i don't see that ending.

amazing enviroments just make me feel disappointed there's no story to go with it.
i don't buy sony consoles because i think it's better looking than PC - i buy it for the great exclusives they have. and then there is the big players like rockstar - who always put their games out on console before PC (i think PC gamers are STILL waiting for RDR1 and 2).
and btw - my phone is an LG 35$ trac phone - while i could easily afford a 1000$ phone, i don't see the point. all i use it for is to make/receive calls and the LG does that just fine.

there's an option - quit gaming. i enjoy it but i also have a full life outside of gaming. i could live without it.
