If you guys are having problems, you should use the vista feature to report your problems to MS. Everytime I had a problem and reported it there was usually a new driver download available or a hotfix that could fix my specific problem. I have 4 vista pc's, 3 have been trouble free and the one I upgraded from xp has given me some trouble, but as I said there was usually a fix out there already or shortly after.

YOu can stream napster through a web browser on your ps3. They have a web application that streams all their songs. You may not be able to do it through the xmb, but you can use it with firefox in linux at the least.
You can also watch spiderman 3 in HD on your xbox 360 or pc. Just download it on Vongo in HD format and stream it to your 360 through media center. Not sure if you can stream vongo straight to the dashboard, but maybe. Perfect for those who don't have a blu-ray player.

A movie bought under digital distribution will always last longer than buying physical media. If your hard drive crashes or you delete it you download it again for free.

I agree about the vision camera not being fully utilized. Having 3 kids, I was looking forward to some wii type games. With that being said one cool game that you should check out is the Rayman game. It has several innovative uses of the vision camera like shooting plungers at rabbits with your finger and swinging a cow around with a chain lasso by making a circular motion with your arm. It takes a little practice but it is alot of fun and the kids love it. It gets your heart rate up.

I can't believe that this is what sony wanted. Do they really want businesses to buy ps3's to run as servers when they take a loss on each console. Obviously, those businesses are not going to buy any games. One thing is for sure. It can't help the attach rate.
You don't need vista or media center for streaming media to the wii or 360 either. Lastly, if you insist on hauling a hard drive back and forth between your ps3 and pc I have a suggestion for you. Get a portable hard drive with usb and a network port on it. That way you don't have to tote your hard drive back and forth between your pc and ps3.

You need to plug your netgear router into the lan ports on your pre-n router. That way your pre-n router acts more like a hub than a separate router and it won't use a firewall. You may also need to disable NAT on your pre-n router.
Sony should make the ps3 become a media center extender. There are over 30 million media center 2005 customers and another 40 million copies of vista out there. There has got to be a catch. I used to pay $10 a month for vongo. It's now starz play and sells for $6/month. That saves me $72 a year. They have a ton of great content, way more than netflix's instant watch. You probably can't watch it on your pc as well or a portable device without paying the $6. Still awesome even if it does actually have restrictions.
