PS1 9/9/1995 in US
PS2 2000
PS3 2006
PS4 2013
about 6 years sounds right to me looking at the previous console releases.
I would be ok with 5 years, but anything below that is too soon. PS4 and X1 hardware is already dated, I would not mind a PS5/Xbox2 that can do 4k in 2018.
@Ali
Are you really comparing every single PC out there to a PS4? Really?
I have Steam on my parents computer, and that thing cannot play any games on any settings.. You counting that?
Or you can try finding the average for a gaming rig... I heard The Order is the best looking PS4 game, I currently have it on my PS4 and it does not look that great compared to games on my rig,looks real blurry to me. Witcher 3 looks twice as good as The Order ...
I dunno if you have played WiiU games or not, but they look fine the way they are on the WiiU.
This hacker group needs to catch up with the times. A more skilled hacking group will crack these games.. Just like with everything else, you cant really stop hacking. They can make it harder but it will be possible.
@Random
Are you saying the PS3 failed?
Just ignore the people that you dont want to play with. Is there really people who will get offended or get their feelings hurt if you dont play a game with them? Or do you not want people to see how much you game? I would rather want other features, appear offline is nothing I need.
I dont disagree but everyone has an opinion.
@uth
Were those people in your family gamers who gamed on PC or just had a pc just to have 1?
Glad I dont have those problems... PC gaming is just as easy as gaming on my PS4 for me. Pick the game and pick controller or keyboard and play... Just like that, no tricks or secrets.
sorry bud, Im a PC gamer but consoles are not going anywhere. Brands will come and go but consoles are here to stay.
What makes pc gaming that much harder?
@mc
You do know you can plug your PC into your tv and play on your couch right? I have a rig with a 970 and thats the only way I play.
RDR and Arkham City. GTA SA in its day, GTA 3 in its day...etc..
A lot of great open world games have come thru my library. I think Arkham City was perfect for size/things to do.
What game isnt a "niche" game?.. There is like no games that are for everyone. Some people play rpgs, some hate rpgs, some play sports, some hate sports, some play fps some hate fps....
Yeah I agree with Sean.. MGSV was great (goty great) for like a week or so then everything was so similar.. Gameplay, Enemies, enviorments, missions, etc... and got old too quick.. I literally havent played it since like a week or 2 after it released and have had no desire for it.
I own Bloodborne as well and thats a much better choice than MGSV but Witcher 3 easily gets GOTY for 2015, and thats nothing against the other games. 2015 was an amazing year just goes to show how g...
Came here to say the same thing....... Oooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh YEAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Now what in my house can I do a flying elbow drop on thats not a cat?
I wouldnt call 2014 or 2015 a disappointment for Nintendo fans. Plenty of games to play.
I play NBA 2k and Rocket league daily and its never down for me. And I am on N4g daily and do not see those articles that often.
Same here, and the best Rally game I have ever played.
At the disagrees... So on PC we do have to wait for mod support?
You are right. If I was selling 50-100 million of something I would shut it right down.
