I completely agree with you. Anybody that sees this as a lame business strategy should never start their own business. I understand the need to jump on the hate bandwagon but can people seriously just use their brains instead of typing up the first thing that jumps in there.

There is no psychological damage. That is far-fetched to say the least. Did you even read the guidelines? They were not required to say anything positive about the console, all they had to do was mention the game was being played on the console. They were not allowed to say anything negative about the console which is the same with every other form of advertising. You know the thing companies do to market their products. Respawn should stick to their guns on this one. I understand feedback is good but its also two-edged and I hope some elements within the gaming community don't push Respawn into changing their vision. It could prove disastrous. Not surprised in the least bit and they have come up with various explanations and insults to prove that Sony's TV talk is different from MS Tv talk. Sony could implement DRM tomorrow and you would see a million articles and a gazillion comments on how said DRM is a gift from the gods.

I really hope Titanfall is a huge hit and that as a result MS buys the exclusive rights to all future franchises like they did with Gears. I don't like gamers missing out on any game if they want to play it but the joy of seeing the pitchfork wielding Sony fanboys go ballistic with an outcome like that would be glorious in HD, maybe not true HD but 720p would still be incredibly glorious.
