PS3 owner here. Why on earth would I hope a game isn't announced? Because it's for 360? Why should I care? Let them have their fun...
While I don't completely agree, I think you've gotten closest to how I feel out of all the responses here.
I feel like Bioware is doing their own thing now, that they're most comfortable with, and they're letting that leak into Dragon Age. Sure, it's not the best thing they could've done with the franchise, but it's not the worst either. It still seems to be a really fun and awesome game, just not exactly what we were hoping for.
Kinda funny that we're STILL seeing hands-on stuff about the demo. I could understand if it was the full game... but this is just a demo. And people are STILL reviewing it. Anyone who's interested in it has probably already played it.
Thankfully. I'm sick and tired of playing games that I can just blaze through and be done with in a day or two.
Plus, I'm sure DA2 will probably have quite a bit of replay value, since you can make different choices and whatnot.
The anime based on this had some of the most forced drama I've ever seen. Don't think I'll be checking this out...
The shorter game time doesn't really bother me much (If a game takes 40 hours to complete, then it's doing SOMETHING right) but the fact that there is significantly less dialogue is a tad troubling. It would be one thing if it had 4/5 the amount of dialogue of Origins... but less than half? The hell is that all about?
Bullshit. It's still an RPG in every sense of the word. The extra button pressing hardly changes anything.
And if you play it on the PC, it's the exact same as it was in Origins.
How the hell is this news?
Kinda disappointed to not see New Vegas on here. The gameplay trailer that starts out with ED-E flying down the highway was probably my favorite in a long time.
Maybe. To be honest, though... I'm not buying a 3DS for 3D. I'm buying it for Megaman Legends 3.
This is my favorite game, so naturally I'm really happy about it being revived on the 3DS, but... well, the visuals look pretty crummy compared to the PS2 version. Really rough. I like the bottom screen interface, though. Seems like it should make party control feel quite a bit more natural as opposed to using the right stick on the PS2 controller. As I said, though... kinda disappointed with the graphic quality.
Not like any of these twists are good, anyhow. It's quite obvious that the dude who made this doesn't play many games, or at the very least, started gaming this gen.
About New Vegas. Best dialogue and more immersive world of any game to come out this year, by far.
Not so sure why Black Ops is in there, though.
All those things they want to add to the game would completely ruin the game. Vehicles? No. It's an RPG. Vehicles would ruin that feeling of always being vulnerable as you tread around the wasteland with your shotgun. And Co-op would ruin that, as well. This isn't Borderlands, this is Fallout. Fallout is about being a LONE WANDERER. Not about teaming up with your friends and killing deathclaws. The game just wouldn't be the same with Co-op or vehicles. That's not to say that couldn't...
That's the most generic list I've ever seen.
I think it's funny that it's already pre-selling so well and yet people are still saying the PS3 is "Doomed".
I just heard two of my friends saying they'll be getting one now.
Too little, too late... MY ASS.
Absolutely not. We can't let game companies take advantage of us, especially during a recession like this.
Olivia Munn, a gamer? That's a good joke...
Can't say it's undeserved. Just beat the game a little bit ago, and I'm sorely disappointed with it. Everything feels really sub-par. Especially the story.
