I like new stuff when they're of good quality and not just mediocre, or a mixed bag in quality.
I'd take a great remake like RE2 or Spyro Reignited over a Day's Gone or Order 1886 anyday

Yeah I beat it twice and enjoyed it

lol "little reworking" is possibly the biggest understatement I've seen & "something to be excited about" for Day's Gone is a massive overstatement.
