That could very well be the reason for the delay.
There is no way a game like dead space will take the horror crown from the original resident evil games.
In my opinion right now nobody has the crown any more it's just lying there in the corner of the field waiting to be grabbed.
I think Shinji Mikami might just pick it back up with his new game that is codenamed Zwei.
There is no way a game as big as half life could make it that close to it's release date without anyone knowing.

Just because you can't fly in jets and whack people with gloves that make them explode doesn't mean it isn't fun.
It may not be as customizable but there is a different type of fun to GTA games now, the realistic physics, the story and the animations are less stiff.
You may say that GTA is not good any more but I think my money would be safe if I said you would still buy it ;)

I only played the KZ3 beta and I was a hardcore KZ2 player but I had no trouble with anything, it did feel like more of the same just with a slight graphical improvement but to hear some people say it was a downgrade or a fail is just stupid.
KZ3 like KZ2 held it's own and did nothing wrong. People just need to to stop hating on games because they can't afford them lol. I'm not saying that applies ...

The only thing it changed was the heavy sprinting and made it a bit lighter.
It was just as good as KZ2 no better, no worse.
