Was bad company an expansion for battlefield 2? Nope. Like bad company This is an completely new game going in a new direction. The only similarity is the frostbite engine (which is used in lots of games now).
People have no idea how big it will actually be and are only assuming from this early beta.

Dice used to be much more consistant for quality. Prior to battlefield 3 Dice wasn't EA's flagship against activision and COD. All the pressure of releasing early for the new consoles, running on 5 different platforms, commander tablet integration, and a billion guns and gadgets, was just way too much. Battlefield 4 will never achieve the standard of balance and pollish Dice used to be known for.
Battlefront however may benifit from this whole mess. It will be only 3...

No when I'm at home I game on my PC or my console. Gaming on my laptop is only away from home.
Ya didn't think there would be miracle software that would let my crappy laptop play newer games. It plays thing like portal just fine, but battlefield 3 only ran at 10 fps max. Guess ill just have to play games at home lol

Call of duty 4 modern warfare in my opinion the best ever COD. Compared to the newer COD games it is elegantly simple and perfectly balanced. Since modern warfare no COD kept my interest for nearly as long. I stopped buying COD games after the first Black ops. Ghosts will sell a shit load of copies but Battlefield is pushing the limits like the first modern warfare did. With a fresh start on a new generation Battlefield has never been in a better position to dethrone the COD king.

except sniper rifles get more accurate the closer you are to your target, and making it a top level unlock will only limit its use for like a month until everyone has it unlocked anyway. plus its not just the 50 cal we are taking about. there is going to be lots of kick ass weapons that pack a punch now. if you give a super powerful gun to the masses you get this..... http://www.youtube.com/watc...
i think it will work out, a 50 cal rifle would kill no matter where you hit the target. you cant exactly give a 1 hit kill weapon to everyone in a load out.
Dice said it spawns once and that is it for the round. i cant think of any other way to have a super powerful weapon in the game. now at least the 50 cal can have realistic damage and not be just a joke.
ive been tempted to try the ps move navigation controller with a mouse instead of a keyboard. might make battlefield 3 for pc playable from the couch....
worried? how do you say? i have pc and ps3 versions of battlefield. i would just rather sit on my expensive couch playing on my 60" screen with a controller, rather that at my computer desk. besides 60 fps is what really counts.
Lets see what a pc bought for 399 can run battlefield at. bet it wouldn't look as good as ps4. if your used to current gen consoles then next gen will look amazing. dont worry about what a high end gaming pc will look like. you get what you pay for.
I agree too. Far cry 2 fell short for me with degrading guns and stupid malaria. Managing a sickness is not my idea of a good time....
I dont see the big deal i bought bf3 and premium on day 1. Im not upset about it being cheaper now its like everything else in this world it gets cheaper with time. It's just brilliant marketing, everyone bought gta5 last gen because it wasn't announced for next gen. If they would have announced both everyone would have held out to get the better version. Doing it this way its like getting 2 releases off of 1 game. Mo Money!
Rockstar have always done what ever the hell they want and make dump trucks full of cash while doing it.
