I'm torn on GTAIV and I 100%'d the game twice too...
But also, it was my least favorite GTA (I like more GTA3, VC and SA), I agree the game sacrifice too much the fun part for realism. The game still a great game (and one of my best game this generation but not the best game of this generation like SanAndreas by a mile the previous gen).

Probably 250 preorders for the PS3 and 1 xbox fans do not want this game. In fact, he really don't want it, so he pay 60$ to not have it to EA.

You only need 120Hz to handling 3D...but unfortunately your TV have probably an input of just 60hz like most TV (even if your display was 640hz).
Presently, only DLP TV have an input which can handle 120hz

As a developer myself, i have worked in many company which organize LAN party but do not permit access to internet (only office and a bunch of router disconnected from intranet).
Ubisoft, Rockwell, IBM have no problem to give office access (to employee) on weekends, but do not give internet access (for security and others reasons). For same reason, if i organize LAN in my basement, how can my 5mbits connexion (0.6mbits upload) can serve 20 players!!!

Instead of trying to copy Nintendo which already have good motion control and game to support it ( casuals games like Mario, Zelda, etc... ).
Why not trying something else like 3D gaming i saw at CES 2009 (GT5 and Wipeout). I hope Sony release 3D stuff ASAP instead of only showing different demo at each conference.
I doubt a motion control system will beat my logitech G25 wheel in racing games anytime soon, and many others games do not works with this technology (RTS...

Your comment make no sense at all, monitor and HDTV are very similar. If your monitor support Full RGB you better active it. I use a Sony Bravia 32" 1080p 120Hz Flat-Panel LCD HDTV** (KDL32VL140) for my computer (It is a monitor or a HDTV for you???).
Also, not sure on this one, but i read somewhere Full RGB can only be actived for monitor connected by HDMI. Most, if not all standard computer monitor is connected DVI because of video card.

Sure, Xbox Live have some advantage over PS3: cross game chat, every gamers have a headset and gamers can check ID online. I think the two system have Pros and Cons at the current price. I choose the Ps3 mainly because of exclus...

I play Wipeout HD 3D and GT5 Prologue at CES...all you need its a PS3, a 120Hz monitor, the realD glass and a patch for the game (and sony don t want to give a patch for now :() So, sony give me the glass for free but i don't have patch and maybe sony will never release them...
I hesitate between this game and midnight club LA, but at 20$ it's a no-brainer! And it's only 3.3gb, which fit easily on my new 320gb hard drive. The PSN version load faster than bluray version and you don't need to switch disk, it's perfect for a lazy guy like me :)
We don't need a better tech for now (which probably need a new TV :(). The CES game a played look stunning in 3D (Grand Turismo Prologue and Wipeout). I want a patch for the two games in my home as soon as possible. By the way, i also played Killzone 2, not bad but only 2D, seems outdated with all the 3D game at CES :).

IMO, not only user, but Metacritic score itself was biased.

I agree on GTR2 is the most realistic racing sim. And we will see but i don't think Race Pro will be as realistic as GTR2, console racing is more controller focused than PC racing (basically because 90% of user use controller and if Simbin want to sell a reasonable amount of game for X360, he must take in account the limitation of controller and make the game easier than gtr2).
Anyway, i think GT5 will still be the best game for console. Racing PC vs console (more arcade racing) ...
i don t like driving car without cockpit with my g25 wheel. For sample, i prefer driving Burnout with the ps3 controller and midnight club with my g25. With F1 2010 and gt5 both with cockpit view, i will wait for this one...:(
