How can you 'tell' more consoles?
When I say Parity, I was referring to the manner of things like purposely limiting the XB1X version of the game with the same resolution as the PS4 Pro when both versions of the game have 'enhanced' features. By the look of things, it looks like this won't be the case as the XB1X will most definitely get better performances and higher resolution...similiar to the OG PS4 to OG XB1. That was the initial fear of those marketing deals.
The_infected, yes Sony has said many things like GT Sport was definitely going to be released in 2016. UC4, the Order 1886, Driveclub, Uncharted Zero Dawn all were delayed to the following years. The point is Sony doesn't have set release dates for those supposed 2018 titles.
And naming a DLC that is going to be released a few weeks in 2017 as a 2018 exclusive is telling us that Sony supposed abundant exclusives over the competions are a bit over exaggerated when MS is...

How can they purposely gimped the Pro version when the hardware doesn't allow it? The 4.2tf GPU isn't powerful enough do native 4K and the limited 8gb of ram can't magically give you 4K textures like the XB1X can.

Besides higher resolution, XB1X also have 4k textures that is missing from the PS4 Pro version. As seen on the Shadow of War comparison, it is like night and day.

New games with a mixture of first and third party like Cuphead, Forza 7, Assassin's Creed, Shadow of War, COD WWII, Wolfenstein, Far Cry 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, State of Decay, Seas of Thieves, Crackdow...

2018: God of War 4 and what else?
All games have patches these days. The game disc were pressed weeks or even months ago. There are many things that can be added in a day one update within the time the game went gold and by release.
The GT Sport day one patch is over 1gb as well.
This is the first Gran Turismo on the PS4 and for the sale to be lowered than the worst selling GT, GT6, is not good news. I think the online dependency and review scores must have factored into the declining sales in Japan.

Why don't you worry about games on your console of choice rather than constantly telling xbox fans what we want. Seas of Thieves, State Of Decay 2, Crackdown 3, Forza Horizon 4, Halo 6, Ori 2 are MS games many Xbox gamers are waiting for in 2018.
On my PS4, besides GOW4, I have no idea what other Sony games I would want next year besides third party games like Red Dead Redemption 2. Oh wait, I'll will be playing that and all third party titles on my XB1X, nevermind...

This is great news for xbox gamers in the coming years.
It is nice to see big AAA games like Destiny 2, COD WWII, and Battlefront 2 are going to have enhancements on XB1X even though Sony has marketing deals with these games. Many were fearing part of the marketing deal included parity. Glad to see that that is not the case.
This is exciting news for future XB1X owners like myself on future titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 and other non-MS marketing titles.
That is definitely a big difference. It is the equivalent of a 720p image to a 1080p image on a 1080p LCD. Very impressive work by the developer to take advantage of the extra horsepower of the X.
