Not many people buy Uncharted for the multiplayer. Just because it's not fun for you doesnt mean you should skip the whole game.
I think the MP is above average, not great but I'm still gonna play the game because single player is where it's at.
I like Halo but I sure wouldnt pay $120 for one game.

I don't have a problem with this game other than the fact it's coming out in a busy month, in fact the same day as assassins creed and saints row 3. Throw in skyrim, uncharted, metal gear hd collection, battlefield at the end of October and I'm just confused as which is top priority.it's probably something like this.
1. Skyrim- already decided. Day 1 for me.
2. Assassins Creed- maybe not a day 1 but definetely next priority
3. Battlefield 3-
4....
Those honorable mention games could easily replace some of those that made the Top 7. Assassins Creed, Portal, Bioshock, Infamous? Yes please. Take off Resistance and Dragon Age.
You're completely right. I think alot of sales are because somebodys friend has it and therefore they buy it to play with that friend. I know I've bought a few games I wouldn't buy otherwise just because my friends did.
1. NPPL Championship Paintball- game was terrible but all my friends had it
2. Black Ops- honestly wasn't going to buy it at all but soon everyone had it
3. ODST- never really interested but again everyone was playing it

The difference between Gears 1 and Gears 3 is amazing.
I finally downloaded the UC3 beta yesterday so that I could compare the two. Overall, I like Gears 3 better but the reason why is probably different from others. I just couldn't get used to the controls. Coming from playing shooters on xbox for years, I can't get comfortable using the shoulder buttons to aim and shoot. I've seen games on PS3 that let you customize buttons. I think Killzone 3 did and Resistance. I remember hating Killzone until I found I could switch aim and shoot...

It's like me writing a tiny 2 page "book" and placing a copy of it in eveything You could possibly buy. console, electronic, toy, food, etc. Anything you can possibly buy has a copy of my book and then claiming it's the number one selling book of all time.
Cars 2 is an easy 1000/platinum and it is actually a pretty good game surprisingly.

I don't think it's because people don't want to support the devs as much as not wanting to pay $60 for each new game that comes out. There are so many good games coming out this year, I can't pay $60 for each. I'm going to have to get some used. Doesn't mean Im not supporting the devs. I just don't have any money.
