Who even knows? Half the internet blames microsoft while the other half blames platinum without any legit info from either side. Unfortunately scalebound is gone. Maybe platinum is working on some kind of spiritual successor. Maybe microsoft will give the rights back to them. Who knows. I still remember the Versus xiii trailers (and the xv trailers with all the cool shit not in the final game) and cry at night that it never came to be. Clearly they had this in mind from the beginning. This dlc just explains the rushed final hours of the game. It doesn't even feel like a final mix. The few added gameplay segments and bosses were neat I guess but should've been in the base game. The secret boss however does excite me for what's next. But yeah not worth anything more than $15

I dont want a sequel. Some games just dont need one. BB was great on its own and I feel a sequel would just add more lore making the story too convoluted and confusing. A prequel starring gherman, maria, and other significant characters would be neat I guess but would also end up feeling unnecessary. But thats just me

Like I said before, I place these games in my personal "bullshit" genre. They're not all that hard but cheap unexpected shit happens often. Some enemies can one shot you, lock you into a death combo, kill you from miles away with some dumbass projectile, etc. It's on me to push thru the bs and conquer the game or just give up on it

Kojima has done some pretty impressive shit with his games and I feel he's earned that "obsession". I'll never forget the psycho mantis experience, the colonel's codec near the end of mgs2, and if he made mgsV the way he wanted without konami's shit I'm sure we wouldve gotten something even better than what we got. I wouldnt necesaarily want 30fps games to cease. It still gives a nice cinematic feel for certain games but 60fps does need to be far more common. But as long as devs keep chasing the pores on a characters face to the water drops on grass or whatever other dumb shit, it wont happen
