Since the Wii-U is supposed to be going after the "core" players, this sentence alone will now detract many from even looking at this game for a Nintendo platform, regardless of any additional modes !!!

The issues it must solve to be succesfull:
1.Friend Codes must be like user names and not 12 digit numbers.
2.Voice chat during gameplay. We know it has Video/Voice chat capabilities already but it needs to at least have chat during gameplay.
3.Option to stay connected 24/7. The Wii did have this option,but it was poorly used. The Wii-U must make use of this feature and make it worth having.
4.Social integration. Thin...
Its funny how nobody considers product loyalty anymore when factoring in new products from a company. Yea, Nintendo will not be able to pull in every person who bought a Wii.....but they may still pull in a significant amount of people who will now reamin loyal to Nintendo. You have a new generation of kids who now grew up with Wii.....parents who will still look for the next Mario for their kids, the Nintendo faithfull who buy anything Nintendo, and the core players who may just jump ship to...

Guess Nintendo is cashing in a check, considering they own some stock in Bandai/Namco......finally going to make them work on a project for them. I cant say I am happy with the news at the moment, but I will try to reserve my judgement until I see some of the product in motion. Cautiously optimistic at the moment !

I just want a new game, no more ports or upgrades, save them for later on, down the road. First they said the next portable game would be new and now they are talking about either Majoras Mask or Zelda 3. Now if they make a sequel to 3, then that would be something special. New adventure please !
Dec is unlikely, I say November is the main time for them to release the console to get the Black Friday sales after Thanksgiving in America.
The launch games will get a pass if they are 720P, but after that, I expect all the "Core" Nintendo IP's to be in 1080P. And when I say core, I mean Zelda,Smash,Metroid,Starfox,an d a 3D Mario. Games like Mario Party or Rythem Heaven I dont expect that kind of definition as its not needed.

Activision has a chance to introduce new elements into COD's gameplay with the Wii-U Gamepad. They should really look into giving the game some love on the Wii-U and announce something soon.
They really should start looking into bringing over their PC library of games as they could all get a second life on Wii-U and expand their audience.
