Guys just stop for a minute and take a look at the overall design and layout of the gaming news site in question. It's cheap from the very start - I mean, there are 5 different fonts on the landing page alone and its so poorly laid out it just screams "amateur".
Lets ignore the fact that people wont be playing gears for its amazing water textures. Lets ignore the fact that its a BETA. Just judging by the writing alone its pretty obvious the editors over at IGN a...
Demon Souls and Dark Souls are easily two of my all time favorite games of any generation. March cant get here soon enough!!!
This video is actually quite helpful, sure its not some mind blowing revelation but learning these little things about BF4 has really improved my kill count and skill overall.
Even in its supposedly "borken" form that everyone is complaining about I still find it much more enjoyable and balanced than COD Ghost. Of course thats just my opinion...
Either way thanks for sharing this video!!
Ive been playing for the past couple days and I have to say BF4 is so far fun, crazy, and challenging in a way COD just cant accomplish. But they both have their place and Ive played my share of COD. If youre looking for a bit more "tactical" gameplay than this is right up your alley. Just dont expect the run and gun mindest of COD becuase its just doesnt work here.
Overall, Im really enjoying it thus far.
I've been playing this all week. (On PS3) And have seen no lack of players at all. A couple maps are crazy big, and yeah on conquest you might have to run halfway across it at times but thats kinda what conquest is about.
Overall yes it does scream "next gen" but it still doesnt take away from the experience or pacing - yet. Hell, the campaign aint even half bad. Well, not as bad as BF3.
Oh hell yes!! You know it!!
It looks like you and I are in the minority. Those who prefer single player before multiplayer are a dying breed it seems. But for what its worth, Im with you!
Come on people. The Los Santos/GTA world is one based entirely upon satire. Yes, the cops might act like cops, maybe even some racist cops. Addressing and poking fun at those stereotypes are what this whole thing is about.
Please, stop taking yourselves so damn seriously. Its embarrassing.
To be honest I wasnt into it either...the intro came up and I was like "oh cool, something different...alright!" and then?
Well, I dont know, it was kind of embarrassing.
Short but well articulated arguments from each person here. Nice job!
Its a good list, sure...but its missing Red Dead Redemption - which it seems for any one that played the game has got to be amongst their all time top ten worlds. Of course that's just like, my opinion, man.
I wonder how many clicks this troll has squeezed out of all those who dared to click on this farce of an article.
This is not journalism people, its just come dude trying to get people all pissy and drum up a bunch of hits. You cant even read the article without clicking through a bunch of crap.
Lets face it, you got trolled. Myself included. Its not like you can compare Saints Row to a game that hasnt even...ahhh nevermind...
First of all I just want to say I really enjoyed your article. The Souls series is in my opinion damn near the best gaming experience Ive ever had and I never get tired of discussing the ins and outs of how they designed the levels.
I agree with your frustrations. A certain part of Anor Londo does feel a bit unnecessary in its scale, its one of few places in the game where I got genuinely sick of running through the whole place over and over just to reach Ornstein and Smough....
I see where you're going with this and while there is nothing wrong with that idea it does sound painfully unrealistic to think any business will suddenly switch over to using an Xbox.
Still, I have a feeling the first few months after release will tell us much more about where that system will be headed in the coming years, there's no denying that much.
I was never too hyped on this whole "Next Gen Mania" to begin with...but yeah, I completely agree on the PS3 as being the clear choice this time around.
Ha! I was thinking the same thing! Like when I first pissed off that huge knight right after landing in Anor Londo.
Or the first time I got slaughtered by the ghosts in New Londo Ruins without knowing why!
Oh man, the memories. What a great game!
Great article. Dark Souls was amazing, even if Dark Souls II is only half as good it will still be worth it - for me at least.
Dark Souls is without a doubt one of the most frustratingly brilliant games of this generation.
I have high hopes for number 2, and from what I've seen so far it appears FromSoft is doing a good job of retaining the original atmosphere while continuing to take the next indicated step in progressing the franchise.
This is one of my most anticipated games so far, and I can barely stand it!
Yeah I hear ya! A true unexpected gem. In a world of vanilla zombie hacking and COD cookie cutter B.S. State of Decay somehow feels new and different.
I was skeptical about this title at first but after spending two days straight playing this game I have to say its worth the $20.
In fact I cant wait to get home and waste another 6 hours.
Oh hell yes. I LOVED Mafia 2. Such an underrated game!!
