You were spot on in regards to critiquing. No matter what you put out there you better be ready to be critiqued. They shouldn't have shown anything if they weren't ready. They're in the wrong business if they can't handle that.
Glad an old dev name is back....but is the same dev team? That's what matters and it would be a shame if all they do is remakes and sequels of older IP
Nope. Sony doesn't do that with their ports. Maybe at the very beginning of porting for the first time to another platform but not the case anymore.
Nope. Completely wrong. AAA budgets are stupid and will continue to be stupid while smaller devs continue to prove you don't need big budgets to make a good game...you only need a good creative vision and dedicated dev team....bigger isn't better in gaming. That's it.
Besides...plenty of sequels that don't build anything new still have enormous budgets and without any IP royalties.
Where?
The issue with the approach is that the "killerapp" will not ever exist because its all about creativity and iterations. As well as funding of course...and it that area the xbox would be able to make major strides....but we know they dont know how to do that.
No it does not. There were no expectations for this game since pretty much nothing was ever really shown to increase hype....the only hype for this game was self generated because of the love of the franchise. It was nothing extreme...and yet they still failed.
There was more hype for anthem then for this game.
Not sure why that would be surprising....freaking expensive machines. Not to mention you can't buy the steam deck in retail... That's a huge disadvantage compared to other handhelds.
This game has nothing to do with Skyrim...it's closer to dishonored with more rpg mechanics and not as good.
Not really. I'd say PlayStation fans are hoping one of these is good. So far even avowed has dropped the ball for some reason.
@pwnmaster
With you up until the last bit about PC. There's nothing to hate about PC gaming. It is objectively a better experience albeit an expensive one. That's it.
The expense is the only reason the PlayStation will thrive...some just want to game and not bother with technicalities. Just recently sold my PS5 and planning on going all in on PC again after a 10 year break. It is a daunting task with all the options for a build.
Whatever....I want a good ass fucking fable game. Gimme that and I'll be happy.
Helldivers 2 ...we already are seeing simultaneous release.
Yeah I know it is surprising to some but when youre running a business in which thousands of employees depend on your success to keep their jobs you kinda want to make money in order to keep them employed.
From what i've gathered it starts with great promise and then never actually delivers... some things in the game remain subpar and underdeveloped. Im playing it for free because MS loves giving people free access to their games. So far im enjoying it. Focusing on magic which is a 1st for me.
Nope. Blizzard is now inherently live service...thats it.
Lack of exclusives, failed games and especially stupid gaas is what's wrong this gen....is rather they get time to fix it but geez what a shit show of a generation.
Critics get most things wrong actually ...just like this writer
So basically they gave up. If only they had competent leadership.
Stick with the 3080. Unfortunately I wasn't in the PC seen during those cards but don't see a reason to go for the next gen cards when they're on par with the 40 series. Regarding AMD I also don't think you need to upgrade to rdna 4 for the improved FSR as I visually couldn't tell too much a difference ..sure it's sharper but whatever.
I'm thinking of building something this year....gonna try a macroatx build with AMD setup.
I ...
