No console(notice I said CONSOLE) game has thus far brought everything to the table that Halo 3 has. But you could still argue that the MP balance and level quality has never been done before in any game.

While I doubt MS will release another console in '09. I think they'll at least be in the stages in development of their next-next gen console. But I doubt they'll release one for at least a few more years. They've put a lot of cash into the success of this console, ala IPTV, XBL, XBLA, RRoD cash, etc.

Record labels screw the artists anyways, and take most of the profit. Artists always have and always will make their heaps of cash on tour. I mean of course, they are taking losses, but like I said it's really the record companies that are fiendishly trying to stop P2P.
