Sad as it is to admit, that's very true. The story had pretty much no resemblance to how they advertised it and was it was turned out...insubstantial at best.
pretty much every JRPG ever for me. If the game isn't already designed to be a grindfest, the way I play it makes it one. Even managed to put 90 hours into FFXV.

I can't actually believe the graphics on this. If not for telltale animation quirks, it would look just like amodern day animated movie!

I'll say this, having completed it earlier today - Its still a great game, but Studio Ghibli's direct input felt like it was definitely missing story wise. Still great, but not as...moving and a touch more predictable.
Smoother gameplay-wise than the first (for the most part*), but not as perfect story-wise.
*don't wanna outright say "fuck the skirmishes", but they were definitely my least favorite parts of the game.
watching a Let's Play of P4G (which I ended up watching in its entirety 4 times) is what introduced me to the series and led me to getting P5 at launch.
I'd snap up PS4 remaster so fast its unreal lol!

the speed of everything is what impresses me most. looks like what you'd get if you took Dynasty Warriors and put it on x5 fast forward lol! Impressive for a one man job!

Had the first one on pc way back when (it was honestly my sister's game, as I couldn't honestly say it was mine). Confused the *fornicate* out of my young brain. I just could wrap my head around how to play it lol!
The first one was a pleasant surprise. Hopefully this one has the same charm.
Apparently TCL's TVs are feature packed for the price. Built out of plastic though, so they'll look as cheap as they cost.
Didn't get too far in this game originally on the ps3, but you know what stopped me from picking it back up? Learning that there was a water based colossus.
Immediately neutered ANY chance of ever picking it back up.
I'll probably buy it just to support the devs (and because I'm still trying to work in upgrading to a pro), but my crippling phobia of all thing marine life is all too real, so if I even play it, I once again won't be getting ...
