Am I missing something here? How can a game with no real official title (I don't think Project Best is the name), can be reserved?
Why would Sony want to do that when the PS4 is selling so well? The standalone PS4 is probably more expensive to produce due to the GDDR5 and whatnot so I don't see that happening anytime soon.
If the PS4 were to get a drop in a year, for instance, I think MS will match it as they are strong enough financially and won't be undercut.
Mario Kart 8 will be mine on Friday and Watch Dogs will be mine on Monday Night.
The best deal going for Watch Dogs in the USA right now is at Target where you get $25 off either a year of PSN+ or XBL gold.
For Mario Kart, it is a great deal at $60 everywhere because you not only going to get one of the best games of the year but also a downloadable retail game like Windwaker HD.

I think it is still up to the publishers to allow which titles they want for preloading.

OT, like Ghost_Nappa said below, it is the same concept as the X360 flash drive for security and anti-pirating protection, so it was expected. It is a game system, first and foremost, after all.
I am no tech expert and I have no idea how all that math adds up but I do know that Ryse looks great at 900p, infamous looks great at 1080, Mario Kart 8 looks great even at 720p, and I have played both versions on Assassin's Creed 4 on PS4 and Xbox one and they look very close.
At the end of the day, it is only a big deal to fanboys that is dedicated to a single brand, most neutral gamers just go on with their lives and enjoy the games on whichever platform they have.
Minor differences. Enjoy the game whichever platform you are getting.
BTW, the Xbox one version is 792p confirmed by UBIsoft and not 729p on the description posted here.

I bought a used one on craiglist about a month ago for $160.
I bought it for the purpose of Mario Kart 8 and I currently have no games for it yet but do play a few Wii games on it in the meantime.
I think it is worth it as there are already 4 games coming out this year that I am excited about in Mario Kart, Hyrule Warriors, Super Smash Bros and X even before E3.
Also, it also is backward compatible with the Wii so gems like Skyward Sword, Xenoblade Chronicles, Super Mario Galaxy series, can also be played on the system.
Actually, Hyrule warriors is the official name. An official logo and website of it was revealed 3 days ago.
