I never mentioned anything regarding if the cloud demo shown at GDC will be/could be used or not on Crackdown. All I am just pointing out that there is a good chance Cloudgen, founded by the developer of the Crackdown, could be using some of their tech in some form on the multiplayer front for online. They are not the developer but are just a middle ware company, I believed. But, let's just wait to see in a few hours.
Great hold for Watchdog. I hope UBIsoft don't actually trying to milk it though and have annual releases like Assassin's Creed. I don't mind Assassin's Creed as an annual title but for a game that is trying to match GTA, it should allow longer development time for a sequel.

Actually, Phil Spencer is also good friend with Reggie from Nintendo. Beyond the politics of gaming war, believe it or not, people of opposing company can be friend. I even saw Bill Gates and Steve Jobs on stage together and talk for a good hour.
Interesting enough, David Jones, the founder of Realtime Worlds, before founding Cloudgine, of course worked on the original Crackdown. Cloudengine is supposed to drive the cloud processing of XB1.

It doesn't, the 10% extra GPU power could be used on other things like framerate, AA, and helps the game run smoother...it is up to the developers to decide and it is good news for XB1 owners just like it would be good news to PS4 owners if developers have an additional 10% of GPU power to play with. In Bungie's case, they chose to use it on resolution upgrade, which is fine too.

I think this article have it backwards. It is the cult-like fanb@ys that are ruining this console generation with articles like these that have no merit on gaming but to start an imaginary war. It is sickening that people can hope for something harmful or bad for another competing console while they tend to forget that without competition in any industry, they will be at the mercy of the brand or company that they support.
