What a mis-leading title. the original title is "PS4 eliminates lengthy pre-install process, says Sony dev" , the author purposely left out "lengthy"to cause controversy.
In the article: "According to the Official PlayStation Magazine UK, Sony's Neil Brown told Develop attendees today that the same technology which allows PS4 to play a game as it's downloading from the internet will also allow the PS4 to play a game while it's being insta...
@evilhasitsway
No man, you are confusing digital rights with family sharing. Two totally different thing.
If you read the article, which 90% of the people on N4G don't, it is quoted:
"You can visit your friends house you can log into your account and play any game from your digital library, which is good."
-Which is something that is already available for Xbox owners when they purchase digitally DL games, it is stored in...
Also of note. Since the Day one edition had already sold out, the standard edition has just moved up to the #2 spot on the mover and shaker list. It is up 3505%. Well done!!

"Ain't it funny that just after PS4's have been legitimately sold out at GameStop, that all of a sudden, Xbox One units are sold out at various outlets?"
It could only mean 2 things according to some N4G insiders.
1. MS paid off retailers to create false shortages
2. MS execs bought out the remaining Day One supply themselves to create shortages.
LOL, N4G never disappoint.
/S
It is the same thing as the current Xbox digital download policy.
From the article:
"You can visit your friends house you can log into your account and play any game from your digital library, which is good."
It is the same as any digital purchase games from PSN/XboxLive. Xbox1 will also let you do that. It is nothing new. LOL, as always, N4G made it seems like it is a new feature that only Sony can do.
Yea, in your dream, pal.
Valve = Half Life = Steam = PC Master Race. PS4 might get an inferior port in 3 years time if they are lucky. LOL
Can't believe N4G with these crazy comments. Now you pay $20 for points, you'll get $20 in virtual money or 1=1. Even grade-school children can figure that out. Since this was already announced back in E3, Why N4Gers seem so shocked?
You people asked for it, and by god, it will be here in November.
If MS would have given free points out, you people will find a way to troll. get real, people.
Xbox 360 first and will upgrade to the PC version when it comes out. There is no way I am waiting even longer to play this game.
Stop being paranoid (no pun intended), 4gb x360 owners can simply use a 16gb flash drive inside their drawer or simple buy one for $10. Problem solve. Easy as pie.
"Sorry but I trust Sony a lot more when it comes to personal information and online gaming"
Are you serious? it took 24 days for Sony to get the PSN up and running after the hacking incident in 2011, and millions of credit cards were stolen. And don't get me started with the rootkit incident for their music CDs.
300,000 servers, 700 million was just also spent on a new server location in Iowa, all games will be on dedicated server, that in itself makes Live the best and will continue to lead the way into the future. It is just a multiplayer heaven and with such prominant games like Battlefield 4, Titanfall, Destiny, and Halo 5 all set to be on Live dedicated server, man, I can't wait!!! I can care less about paying for a weaker and less secure online service and getting rental games that the PSN ...
So 15 gig of gaming goodness can be installed on the HD. Great, should help with the load time, less wear N tear on disc drive, and no disc swapping. Awaiting patiently for the release in Sept.
Look around N4G, you will find them.
Xbox One Pre-Orders Sold Out at Best Buy

Day One...now with blood.
Good post Kratos. Fun is the name of the game. A game is like a movie, it can have the best CGI effects and graphics but if the plot, acting, and fun are taking out of it, you'll get a John Carter.
This article is garbage and make no sense whatsoever. Take #5 for example.
"5. Don't confuse digital and physical products. While there aren't any hard rules on how things need to work, most people have some kind of rough idea about what they expect from their physical and digital products. They want their game discs to work like a book or movie where they can be lent, gifted, and sold at will. They want their digital stuff to work like iTunes and Steam where the...
I have a feeling a beast is on your tail and will be replying to you soon. :)
No Duh Sherlock!!!,
that is why the title states "USA Weekly Chart" facepalm
I am not worry at all. It is like the New Man of Steel movie compared to the Christopher reeves' movies. The New one is more dark and less silly but the core and spirit of the character is still there,
They also showed a 25 min videos of the gameplay and yes, putting on a mascot uniform and customizing your weapon are still there. Also, there will be characters that you will be meeting during the game in which non have seen yet so the interaction between them is something...
Day One. Got all the previous Dead Rising games and love them all. A little change is good people. It is like music, you don't want your favorite band to keep releasing the same material on every album, progression only adds to innovation.
