Sorry you get into that industry you know you're going to "Crunch"...you get into corporate law at massive firm you know you're going to be working everyday 7 days a week till at least midnight. The thing is you know this going in. If you don't like that idea you don't get into the industry or take the job. Just okay, for me. Game play looks okay, but can't stand the constant character quips. That will get extremely annoying fast. Best thing to redeem this would be quick on-the-fly character changes...not sure if that's even in the works or not.
As well as taking much of the criticism and retooling the game, I'm hopeful this delay will allow them the ability to ditch the PS4 and Xbox one versions, as it will be nearly another year into this Gen.
Much like GTA Def editions...nothing more than cash grab, and standing on the backs of modders, who did a better job adding upgrades, updating graphics and load times. IMO there was absolutely no need or probably any desire for this edition.
Completely agree! I played RDR a year before RDR2 came out, and it was great, gunplay, aiming etc., sure the graphics were a little dated...but it was great!. This is trash, played San Andreas, and it is nearly un-playable, the glitches, aiming controls etc. are horrendous. They couldn't fix that line of code to correct for the horrible aiming and lack of control. This was a lazy port and pure cash-grab. Just make GTA VI already, or a new IP.
Maybe if it wasn't 1st person...it would be worth a look...but nah.

Do game developers ever ask the fans, what they want...NO. they just crap out generic trash that no one really wants and then question why it doesn't sell or review well. They're not even trying here, it's just low hanging fruit, no ambition no new ideas.....

Like many I'm on the fence. It could be interesting...but am I the only one sick and tired of everything being locked behind 1st person...at least give both perspectives. And don't gimmie the bs that 3rd is not as immersive. Also, similar topic...let's also agree to hang up all zombie games, movies etc., for at least 20 years or more the saturation is unbearable.

Maybe you should get the XSX, PS-PRO or PS5, and stop whining as the game was always a console game. Playing on XSX quality mode, no VRR. Is this the best looking/performing game ever, no, great game and one of the best I've ever played HELL yes! Don't get me wrong, the graphics are fantastic, and it performs really well, with minor pop-in. But, neither the graphics nor performance issues are game breaking in the least.
