I was going to get this game as soon as I saw the first trailer. so this doesn't change anything. impressive trailer. I am just too happy.
I also felt that they could have done without the kissing scene only because now all this game will be talked about is for that 3 second scene.
Anyway, that's the game director's call. I hope he knows he just opened the Pandora's Box.

I hate when ppl put Gears/Halo in the same space as TLOU/Uncharted etc... Gears/Halo aren't as great they used to be... They don't even sell systems anymore... Nor do they appear on GOTY lists.

Yes.. given the time - that means they're going to come out with a new game next gen. HS was amazing but after that there's nothing as great as that game.
But look at it... It's MS at the end of the day. They'll throw out the game that doesn't pass the litmus test. The difference is when you're independent, you can make any game and choose to be exclusive with MS but once you're in their pay checks, you better make games they think are good.
They've been saying "they listen to gamers" for years. If they really listened, they wouldn't be in the state they are now. False promises are all they are good at showing you. Most of what has been told will never reach the promised results... You guys truly deserve each other.
So how do we gauge that it was a good thing? By buying games on PC? Shouldn't the sale of X
be the direct reflection?
I just hope Sony as usual doesn't cut down games because of the dismal show of MS. The show was great for gamers but not MS at all.

Everything looked like we've seen it before and all those pre-recorded scripted "gameplay" footages were just cringe worthy.
